Break out your Baird's Manual

I'm looking for info on a local sorority at Roanoke College in Salem, VA, in the 60s-70s. The sorority was Alpha Tau Omega, actually. I've been trying to find out when or if it became a NPC sorority. Many thanks for your help, and your timer starts... now.

Not sure if this helps ...

my 1990 edition of Baird's says for Roanoke College

NPC
1955 Chi Omega
1955 Delta Gamma
1955 Phi Mu

Inactive NPC
1962-1978 Alpha Phi

No mention of a local sorority ...

Alpha Tau Omega is listed (as I assume the fraternity) 1869-92

I thought the Alpha Phi reference might be it, but it isn't. ATO is the local my mom was in, she would have arrived at the college around '72. Thanks, though

Contact the university archivist for help. They have old yearbooks. Good luck.

Baird's would not have reference to locals only groups which merged with NPC groups i.e. Theta Upsilon merged into Delta Zeta.
