Ways that you make yourself feel better

Hi ladies

I was wondering what you do when your feeling down or sad? I've been feeling so down and saying such negative things and I'm pretty sure some of so called sisters will not want to hang around me. Well, you know what I don't care. I don't even think I really want to be a part of this sorority but I don't want to give up my position that I have with Panhell.

We have a date party but I don't think I'm going to go for one I don't have a date ( I invited 2 guys) but I don't like them or want to them to be there. So, I'm not going to be there.

See now you know how I've been feeling lately I can't seem to think positive and I don't know why. I just feel that I'm not happy.

Does anyone have any advice besides try to feel happy?

Figure out the things you do that you enjoy...

I know when i feel down I pamper myself - take a bath, do a pedicure, polish my nails. that always feels good.

also, why is panhellenic fun, but not you chapter? think about the differences and think about ways you may influence change in your chapter.

I also find doing things for other people when I'm down and out makes me feel better - like sending all my sisters e-greetings, or writing sunshine notes for everyone to be handed out at the next meeting, stuff like that which doesn't take too much time, but means a lot to some ppl (even if they don't say it)

And i know what you mean about parties...I just bought 2 formal tickets but I have my doubts about finding a date Maybe you should drive down and be my date? (March 5th - book it off )

Annice~
Jenn said some really valid points... Just try to look at things you enjoy in life and do them. Everything else, put on the back burner! Get around people that have nothing but joy in their lives (or as close as you can get) because it really does rub off...

And of course if you ever need to talk, we're here for you...

Sweetie,
We're all here for you. When I'm feeling down, I write about it in my journal, go for a nice walk (or run), or take a nice hot bath. It might not be the answer to all of your problems, but it helps to get your emotions out (and not by yelling at other people). And there's always shopping! That cures all pain (until the credit card bill arrives!)

LITP,

Jadey
