Even though I go to UNLV I have two brothers that go to USC (I myself would rather be there) Anyways, because of them I have become a big fan of Trojan basketball~ Your right, too bad about the loss, I'm going to have to continue on loving them! Right on Gamma_25

Well, as a Bruin, I can tell you we were more than happy to see USC lose. But honestly, it would have been a little nice to have them win the championship just because we are both in Los Angeles. However, my best friend goes there and she would have never let me live it down if they would have made it all the way.

P.S. Please do not bring up our loss in the first round in the PAC-10. Yes, everyone here at UCLA knows that our team sucks and Coach Lavin needs to be fired! I still can't believe we lost to CAL!

IMO, and I'll admit right up front that I am a Trojan fan, the problem with both SC and UCLA is that you never know which team will actually show up.

Both teams can look VERY IMPRESSIVE and yes, we all thought USC had a great shot at the final four, But both teams can also look like they just rolled out of bed 5 minutes ago and are not quite awake.

Consistency is the key to a really good program, and both teams have problems with this.

And USC screwed themselves last night. You cannot win a basketball game without freethrows and their freethrows were atrocious last night.

Now, I have to say: GO OLE MISS. Cause while I want every other team in the Pac10 to advance, UCLA needs to lose in round one-- NOT ONLY so that Lavin will be fired as he needs to be, but so that I can not have to listen to my UCLA friends talk SMACK. lol

But BOY did that Trojan loss screw up my bracket!

Cool It's all good !

well since the tournament is getting good..well i just wish all the teams luck..i'm not tripping if USC isn't the greatest...as long as they can actually kick butt in football then it's all good
besides....i'm not hating on any team...they all got skills & can play....
well have a good weekend everyone...and enjoy your spring break if your on it now..or will be...late

I think that the people who are lamblasting Lavin need to remember a few things: First, he is young. Second, he is far better than Herrick was and look what it took to get rid of him. Third, he has taken the Bruins to the Sweet Sixteen five out of the last six years. Yes, I know he is not a dream coach but sometimes you have to deal with having a young coach for a while in order to turn a coach into a legacy.
