Phi Delta Theta Closes Rutgers Chapter
According to the October 18 '05 school paper,
The national Phi Delta Theta fraternity voted last week to revoke the charter of the Rutgers chapter for three years.
Continued violations of the house's alcohol-free policy are the main reason for the revocation, according to a prepared statement by the international fraternity's New Jersey offices.
All residents of the chapter house - located at 66 College Ave. - must vacate the property by 7 tonight, said Joann M. Arnholt, dean of Fraternity and Sorority Affairs.
"This group is closed, so there will be no activity at all by Phi Delta on our campus," Arnholt said. . . .
