What do you listen to?

I haven't been on here in a minute, but I was sitting at my desk listening to some tunes, and I began to wonder what some of y'all listen to. Not necessarily as in 'listen to everything' like a lot of folks my age would say, but more of what is your favorite kind of music. When you get in your car or when you're at home, what's generally the kind of music you play?

I'm into new and old school rap artists. From BIG to 50 cent. I'll post some youtubes of what I listen to after I see what Greek Chat likes.

I listen to everything. If it sounds good, I'll listen to it. But it's mainly 80s, especially Journey, Madonna, and Duran Duran. He's not 80s but I like Justin Timberlake a lot, too.

My music interests are mostly Jazz Flavors with a mix of R&B like Gary Taylor. Examples of what I generally enjoy.

I totally left my heart back in the 90s. I'm really big on pop/R&B/hip hop from 1985-1995. I like nearly everything except country (and I even have a few exceptions there) so I've got classical, old school R&B, opera/classical voice, gospel and contemporary Christian, rap, etc. I've just recently (in the last couple of years) started getting into Broadway.

ETA: I found this tonight and thought it was a pretty cool fuse of then and now. Shanice ("I Love Your Smile") singing "If I Were a Boy." She starts off super soft (even a little boring) then WHAM out of nowhere kills it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_a5U-XqBtFw

But it gets better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w4KF5...Upw&lf=mh_lolz

And even better http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S2-PW...Upw&lf=mh_lolz

What's electronica? I can't say that I've heard music like that before. Maybe I have, but I'm not familiar with that genre.

Which hip hop artists do you like?
