Helicopter and Small Plane Crash Over Hudson River

Really sad.

Seeing the Statue of Liberty is one of the things I wanted to do on my birthday this year. I will officially be seeing it from the ground. This is nuts.

Yeah, I was staying on the 10th floor of the W Hoboken. About 300meters from where the helicopter went down. I was on the balcony looking out at NYC when it happened. It sounded exactly like the last time I heard 2 helicopters go down. Lat year, I saw 2 helicopters collide in Phoenix. I don't believe I'll be taking another flight anytime soon.

This is really sad, but i saw this on TV and the first thing i thought was, how the hell to you crash a plane with a helicopter. I mean, did they not see each other. In a car you only have two ways to turn to avoid a crash, in the air you have virtually infinite ways to turn to avoid something like this. I think i is a tragic event that should have been avoided.
