Gamma Sigma Sigma roll call
Sisters,
I would love to see who on GC is a Gamma Sig. I want to add you to my buddy list here on GC.
I am joining our alumni chapter, 10 years after graduating, and my collegiate chapter disbanded the semester I completed my BA.
Just looking for other Gamma Sigs...

I apologize if I sound clueless, but what do the first and third lines mean? Is this something that all chapters do now? I haven't been a collegiate in over a decade, so please fill me in!

#9--Her line number
Kappa Lawless/H.A.R.D.--her pledge line's name as a whole
The third line is her line name.
Not all chapters do it. It's just like my info, just mixed up a little bit.

No worries! I was in college a long time ago, in the north. We didn't have anything like that. Our Gamma Sig chapter didn't even have pledge class names (like beta, gamma, etc.). It was just Fall 93 or whatever. And we didn't get formal nicknames. My big sister gave me mine as a goof.
It seems like a lot of chapters have traditions and customs similar to those of social sororities now, as opposed to when I pledged.

Sis,
You can most certainly get a jacket. I know of two sorors that pledged at PWI's and they got one. You can get the letters, shield, the semester/year you crossed and your school and chapter on each sleeve. You don't have to get anything on the back, unless it's something general to the sorority. Shoot me a PM, we can talk about it.
Also please introduce yourself! Chapter and Year!

Help!!!!
I pledged Gamma Sig Fall 1991. I have since left the college that I pledged at and eventually graduated from another school. I have for a while and just found this site and was wondering if anyone here knows how or if I am eligible for joining an Alumnae chapter. I have lost touch with former members and all items that I had pertaining to my pledge process as since been misplaced or "hiding" at my parents' home. Any ideas?

Sis,
You are eligible for joining as long as you honorably separated from your initiating chapter. Where are you now? You can send me a PM if you'd like.
