GMAT

I am studying for the GMAT and I wanted to know if anyone has any tips or special helpful hints to getting a higher score.

The GMAT tries to trick you. Make sure you are answering the question that is actually being asked, especially in the quantitative sections. There will ALWAYS be answers that are intended to throw you off, especially if you are rushing you may end up not fully answering the question.

And limit your time per question. If you feel you are spending too long on a question, make an educated guess by eliminating answers you know are wrong as to not run out of time. And, know basic things such as times tables and formulas off the top of your head.

Make sure to take the breaks that you are offered! I found it so worth it to take a few minutes to breathe and clear your head between sections.
