Well, a pool. But every kid who doesn't have one wants one of those! They said it was too big of a liability...
And an easy bake oven!
But I shouldn't complain because my parents have been very generous to me!

A Puffalump stuffed animal thing (anyone remember these )when I was like 6. My mother said they were stupid.
A noisy, obnoxious game like Operation, however, was OK.

Me too...
I recall they had an incedent where some kid was burned by an electrical fire from one of those...
But we were born in the days when playgrounds had things that were tall and had pointy edges.

A perm. I wanted one so bad when they were popular in the late 80's. All my friends were getting them but my mother wouldn't let me. She told me that I would "thank her someday". Now I do. When I look back at pictures, I see my 7-year-old friends with puffy hair. They're hair is still damaged from the chemicals used.
I also wanted the game Mall Madness but my mean, mean parents wouldn't get it for me. My grandmother felt bad and bought it for me so when I went to her place, I played it there.

Had the pool.... but I never did get the ez bake oven! I keep seeing them in stores now and thinking, "I could buy it now!" I can't even cook in the regular oven.... I totally blame my parents for that because I never learned on the ez bake oven.
