Talking new officer

hey everyone,
Well, I just found out I got Panhellenic Recruitement Chair. So I am in charge of formal recruitement for my school. I am honored yet nervous. If anything goes wrong it will all come back to me. Its going to be a busy year next year. The hardest part I think will be going neutral from april-bid day sometime in sept.. My chapter is small only 13 sisters, so it will be hard not being around my best friends. But its a great opportunity for me, my sorority and my chapter to be given such a wonderful position. Has anyone been Panhell. recruitement chair at their school?

Congratulations to you!

Sounds like a lot of work though. Staying unbiased would be the hardest part. Glad we really don't have to do that in the fraternity system..

Good luck!

I've never been Panhel recruitment chair, but I've been a rho chi, so I know you've got a lot of work cut out for you. Good luck with it

Congrats!

Congratulations mmcline! I'm so glad to hear that things are going well with your AST chapter. It is good to see a small chapter blossom like that. Good luck with everything!

Congratulations!!

Best of luck in your new position!! I was the Panhellenic VP-Recruitment for 2001 concluding with formal recruitment 2002 (Valpo is deferred). There is a lot to do, but so many rewards. You have a hand in helping all the PNMs beginning their sorority experience. I gained so much from the position. When the days get crazy, remember to smile, take a deep breathe, and know you were selected for a reason! Have fun! Keep us informed as to your planning efforts!!

I was also elected Panhellenic VP Social Outreach (Recruitment chair) at my school. Best of luck to you!! I know my next couple semesters are going to be crazy. If you want to talk and maybe trade ideas, feel free to PM me and I'll send you my screen name and we can talk!
