Convention 2013

For those who have not yet heard, Convention 2013 will be held in Boston. First time we will have convention there!

I'm going, too, and have been agonizing over what to wear to the White Rose Banquet. I bought a pretty nice dress of approximately knee length, so I hope I won't stand out like a sore thumb, but when else in God's name would I wear a long dress? I couldn't justify buying one just for this occasion.

I have worn the same knee length formal dress for the past two conventions. Sisters will come in all sorts of attire, so I wouldn't worry too much! Glad you are attending!

Hey Wavycut Chip congratulations on the awards picked up Arkansas-Little Rock. That's the chapter you advise, right?

Thanks so much, Just Interested. Yes, that is the chapter that I advised. I am so proud of the work all the advisors for Eta Sigma have done these past 2 years. I just wrapped up a 4 year stint on the board, with the last 2 as the main adviser. Taking a break to focus on my other KD responsibilities, but they are in the hands of 12 other fabulous sisters as of June 1st

It was an honor to accept the award for these great women.

Tsk. I happen to be wearing mine today. It's a really cute hammered silver friendship bracelet, a replica of the favor from the 1913 convention.

That was quick... Why go to convention if you won't treasure things like this? I hope someone lost theirs and someone who isn't connected to KD at all found it and posted it.
