Post Just became involved and...

My husband and I moved back into town with our family and I had a baby about a year ago, and I just became reinvolved with my alumni group. Many of the sisters have greeted me with open arms. I have made some great friends, but there are a few from my former chapter who have been rather cold to me. When we were in the chapter together, we didn't see eye to eye on a few issues, and that was in 1993! When I came to a function with the local chapter, this girl sat and talked about me in front of my face! She made it known that I was unwelcome! Then she made plans with the other girls right in front of my face! I cannot believe that some people can be so petty and so judgemental after all these years!

Sorry I had to be so negative, but I had to vent!

Stargirl,

Isn't it interesting how we humans can carry grudges for so long?

Not that this would be easy, but have you tried approaching the sister privately about this situation? Or, is there another sister who could call her aside on it and suggest that "bygones be bygones?" Good luck!
