Fraternity Man

I was wondering if any chapters out there did anything with this song. I know that the version that Lexington put out sounds really corny, but I thought that it always sounded like a good drinking song.

Our chapter did the following:

I hail from the state of Oklahoma I'm wild, woolly, and rough.
I ride the broncs, smoke cigarettes, and do everything that's tough.
I'm always light-hearted and free from care, to a friend I'm always true.
You'll always find me ready to fight for dear old Sigma Nu.

(Chorus) Who am I sir, a fraternity man am I.
I'm a Sigma Nu sir and will be till I do.
Singing Ay-Rickity-Woop-De-Do, nothing's better then Sigma Nu, Hullaballo-Terricka-to, all together for Sigma Nu.

< I can't remember this second verse >

Repeat chorus.

Now, if by chance you wander from the straight and narrow path.
And if you flunk your morals like you used to flunk your math.
Now don't be disappointed when you hear the funeral knell.
For we have an alumni chapter at the very gates of hell!

Repeat chorus.

2nd verse:

The Sigma Nus, they like to live, but when it comes to die,
You never hear them groan or moan, you never hear them sigh.
They walk right up to the pearly gates, you bet your life they do,
And at the gates, they meet St. Pete, and he's a Sigma Nu.

<chorus>

This is all sung to the tune of the Utah fight song.

We hail from the the state of Maine boys, we're wild wooly and rough
We ride the girls, drink and smoke, and do everything that's tough
Always light hearted, free from care, to a friend we're always true
You'll always find us ready to find for dear old sigma nu.

Who am I sir? Fraternity Man am I
A Sigma Nu, sir and will be till I die!
Hi-Rickety-Whoop-tedo What's the matter with Sigma Nu?
Hallaballoo terikahoo all together for Sigma Nu!

Us Sigma Nus, we like to live, but when it comes to die,
You'll never hear us moan and groan, you'll never hear us sigh
We'll walk right up to the pearly gates, you bet your ass we do,
For at the gates we meet St. Pete, and he's a Sigma Nu!

Who am I sir? Fraternity Man am I
A Sigma Nu, sir and will be till I die!
Hi-Rickety-Whoop-tedo What's the matter with Sigma Nu?
Hallaballoo terikahoo all together for Sigma Nu!

[[[Quiet]]]
Now if by chance you wander off the straight and narrow path,
And if you flunk your morals like you used to flunk your math.
Don't be dissapointed boys when you hear the funeral knell,
[[[Loud again]]]
We have an alumni chapter from the very depths of hell!

Who am I sir? Fraternity Man am I
A Sigma Nu, sir and will be till I die!
Hi-Rickety-Whoop-tedo What's the matter with Sigma Nu?
Hallaballoo terikahoo all together for Sigma Nu!

Balls to your partner
Ass against the wall
If you ain't been laid at Sigma Nu
Then you ain't been laid at all!
