Syracuse University suspended one fraternity and halted social activities at all of them for the rest of the semester after a series of racist and anti-Semitic incidents that have prompted days of protests, the school president announced Sunday.

Another action by a spineless administrator. One bad actor and you suspend everyone and everything. Wonder why the greek system feels under attack?

The net effect will be that several groups will initiate their classes anyway and others will wait until January. It sounds as if there is one group which seems to be facing more consequences, so maybe they are to blame?

Since the students at the University of Missouri forced the school President and Chancellor out, right or wrong, administrators are treating these incidents with regard to students' civil rights, that they're better off asking forgiveness than permission when violating students' rights.
