Unhappy

This has been a terrible year. At my school, University of MO-Rolla, there have been several losses to the Greek community, the most recent being to my chapter of Chi Omega. I had not heard about this other death that occurred in St. Louis, but it nonetheless bothers me, and I will keep my other grieving Chi O sisters in my thoughts as well.

*sigh*

As for my chapter, we will be at a visitation tomorrow and a funeral Wednesday morning in Granite City, IL.

I simply cannot stress how important sisterhood is--at any time--but especially now. Everybody be careful and never take your sisters for granted because you never know what will happen between the time you part and when you think you'll see her again....

and thank you for posting.

Love in the bonds,
April

I know this will be a hard time for you and your chapter but remember the good times and things your sister brought to Chi Omega.
God bless and my prayers are with you all

Again, April, my heart goes with you and your sisters through this terrible time. What you said is so true. We must treasure each other as the gift we are.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her sisters and her family-this must be so hard for them. I can't even imagine...luckily her sisters have each other for comfort and strength, although this is such an emotionally hard time.

April, you and your chapter are also in my prayers. Don't ever forget that you have sisters here on GC who support you no matter what.

My heart goes out to our Cornell Chapter and April and her chapter. You are all in my prayers. Just remember that you have the support of your sisters in Chi Omega.
Love in Chi Omega,
