Talking The funniest thing!!

I just moved to Nicholasville, Kentucky and have only been here since July. I just recently got a job at University of Kentucky and of course since there is no SA here I want to see if I can help get one started. So, I put up signs all over the Ag College buildings. And well I got two phone calls the next day…the funny thing is that they where not from perspective members it was from alumni. How cool is that. The other two women (one from U of A and the other from NC State) are in the same building and have passed each other in the elevator. It just goes to show you don’t know who you walk beside and who could be a fellow sister Now I have two new friends where before I had none here…again…HOW COOL IS THAT

So…if you are an alumni in Lexington Area…contact me please we will be going out to eat on Friday (22Oct).

Too funny (and hello to you!) Check out the thread ArizonaAlum started (about 10 threads down)... wonder if that's the U of A you are referring to or if there is yet another sister at U-KY?

It definatly is a small world in Sigma Alpha! I met a fellow sister from U of DE at convention that turns out her and I rode at the same 'backyard' barn like 10+ years ago! I also met a bunch of sisters that live close to me (when at home from school!). Isn't it amazing how there are SOOO many of us all over, yet we're only 26 years old? :-D
