Yeah we knew

Did you just bring this over from KAZO?

It is old news. It is/was a pharmaceutical fraternity. Don't know if it still exists because I can't find anything recent about it on Google. That website is not very recent and the alumni association of that frat was to handle the proceeds from the sale of their frat house since the campus chapter disbanded.

There has been two other Delta Sigma Theta Fraternities:

One is the aforementioned pharmeceutical fraternity founded in 1915 at the Brooklyn College of Pharmacy (I think that's the name).

The other is a Christian fraternity now named Sigma Theta Epsilon that was originally named Delta Sigma Theta after a merger between the Phi Tau Theta and Sigma Epsilon Theta fraternities. The DST sorority threatened lawsuit for use of their name (see page 105 or 125 of In Search of Sisterhood and the STE fraternity history webpage at http://www.sigmatheta.org/history.shtml ). This org was officially known as Delta Sigma Theta from 1941 to 1949.

I guess there's something about the name Delta Sigma Theta.

Where is ISOS does it say we threatened a lawsuit? Also check the dates on page 125 in ISOS with the dates on the webpage you referenced.

Wikipedia.

Just as a note, I'm creating a page for Delta Sigma Theta (the pharmacy professional) right now I've got the entry in Baird's Manual and will be working from there.

Founded in 1914 at Brooklyn College of Pharmacy. At least 18 chapters over the years. Normally with two groups like this, the pages would be
Delta Sigma Theta (social) and Delta Sigma Theta (professional). (Similar to Delta Phi Epsilon having social and professional disambiguation terms). However in this case, I'm leaning toward leaving Delta Sigma Theta (social) under the term without a disambiguation due to the difference in size. (and the shear mass of number of links that would have to be changed)
