Suede Magazine Blk Sorority Fashion Spread
Hey all you NYCity Sorors,
Suede Magazine is doing a Fasion photo shoot and they are look to only cast women from the D9 sororities.
They are looking for women over 5'4", clothing size 0 to 8, to participate. The woman in charge of casting, her name is Na-na and so far she told me that there are 20 AKA's, 15 Delta's, 3 Zeta's, and 1 SGrho.
Unfortunately, this is not a situation where they are going to pick a woman from each organization. This is a competition and they are looking to see to choose the faces that best complement each other for the spread. Meaning the spread could be just AKA's, or Delta's, etc. As it stands the odds are really unbalanced and this lady would like to see more Zeta's and SGRhos come out to participate so the competition can be fair.
Here is the contents of an email I was forwarded:
Hey guys hope all is well. as most you know i do the
casting for suede magazine's fashion tribes where we
incoporate real women with fashion trends that are
reflective of who these women are and the things they
do. the first one was church ladies and thanks to all
those who came out for the casting-even if you werent
picked your participation was greatly appreciated, our
second one was female breakdancers and voguers and
that one was a bit tough but in the end it looked HOT.
and now im doing blk soroities AKAs DELTAS, ZETA etc
so if you know of any women who actively belong to any
of these organizations pls have them give me a call at 212.642.0259
The casting call is from Now until November 1st, 12-2pm or 3-6pm. Located on broadway on the corner of 43rd st. 6th floor and ask for Na-na Eyeson. Her number is 212-642-0259 if you need more specific directions. It will only last about ten minutes. They will take a couple of polaroids of you and have you fill out an application. If you are chosen you will receive a phone call to notify you. If you are chosen they will do your hair, make up, and provide clothing from top designers, and give you and the others chosen a professional photo shoot.
Please go out and represent sorors, if you are interested and can do so. I personally hate to see the same two sororities repreresented in the media time and time again, as if they are the only ones that exist.
