24's Redemption

Trailer: http://www.fox.com/24/trailer/

I absolutely love the idea of Cherry Jones playing the role of President. http://nymag.com/daily/entertainment...rry_jones.html I absolutely loved her part (albeit small) in Ocean's 12.

Also new at least for the first episode is Jon Voight

Back this season:
Peter MacNicol will be back as Tom Lennox
Powers Booth will again play President Noah Daniels
Mary Lynn Rajskub as Chloe (my favorite)
Carlos Bernard as Tony Alemeda (how many times has he been killed?)

I was just thinking....

if every episode = one hour in the life of Jack Bauer....he has had one hell of week, and should probably get some rest

Watching last night made me wonder...

Is it too convenient for Tony to be a part of the terrorist group electonically jacking planes?

I have a funny feeling that there is more to this than meets the eyes....like a CIA plant or sumn.

ALl the signs are there

- supposed to be dead

- wife is dead

- last season he had no real job

- has a reason to go after the gov't.

and as per usual, there are some dirty agents within the gov't that will be rooted out because of this.

I couldn't help but think they stole the story line from James Bond. He is suppose to be dead. He is burried. He returns.

I had the same suspicions you did. In yesterday's episode, when Tony asked the guy above him for more details regarding the operation, and he didn't give him any, I knew something was up.

Plus, I figured they wouldn't bring Tony back for one episode, only to have him caught, arrested, and sent to jail. That would have been too un-24-like.

And now they're all back. woot woot.

So Kidron Ohio was spared from the chemical factory blowing up. Funny, when I think of Kidron, I think of the Amish.

Great play on poetic license.

Does anyone else agree with me that this season seems like a cheap remake of season 5? Which was amazing...

I don't know. I'm definitely paying attention to things he says and does, but it almost seems too obvious.
