Only if they trade in that pedestrian (old) Saab for some "huge SUV."

Someone may have already posted this somewhere else, but a friend of mine just put this up on Facebook, and I just had to share it with all the good people of GC: http://stuffeducatedblackpeoplelike.wordpress.com/

I'm highly offended as a Canadian. If you're going to use the mayo stereotype, you have to get it right. It's FRENCH-Canadians who have the obsession with mayo.

Is this like the "sheep" stereotype? You know where the English think the Welsh have an unnatural fascination with sheep (if you know what I'm saying), the Welsh think the Scottish do, the Scots, English and Welsh think the Australians do, but the Aussies think it's what the New Zealanders do?
Yeah, that, except with mayo.

I was reading the list and laughing my butt off...I'm with you tld, I don't need to be right, but I do get down with the turkey AND pork bacon, put the pork IS much better,
What makes it even funnier is that I'm planning on going to First Friday tonite and was JUST talking to my friend about what to wear/if I should go shopping.

I think we've discussed this ad nauseum on GC, but NPC/IFC/NIC is for life as well. While not all members believe that to be so, the majority of us on GC do, and most of us wouldn't be around if it wasn't for Alumnae/i clubs/chapters.

I'm Canadian and I've never heard of this stereotype in my life....mind you, eastern Canada is kinda far away from me. Maybe it hasn't made it over the Rockies yet.

An update: http://www.observer.com/2008/stuff-w...-least-350-000
It appears the guy who is in charge of this site was offered a major book deal. The publisher seems to be a fan of other things that we GCers like... according to the article the publisher has signed to create an LOLCats book with the I Can Haz Cheeseburger site creator and a Chuck Norris facts book.
