I would get sick of seeing Tyra day and night but at the same time it will give the ladies different perspectives on modeling. Some of the women need to expand their facial expressions.

These are my thoughts exactly! Seriously, everything is scrunched in the middle of her face. I was going to post something similar but didn't want to interfere with all the Anchal love. I do think she's pretty, though.

I think the show is going to be interesting. The twins are not appealing whatsoever. The both look anorexic. It's funny how the only past winner that is seen frequently is Eva The Diva. All the rest seem to have disappeared.

i'm a bit disappointed that they didn't air a Where Are They Now? episode. i like to see where folks went and if they're living their dream.
this particular "cast", i'm not into yet. the twins in their pix look like Fiona Apple, not someone i see as model-like.
and why oh why, must there be another Omarosa? i mean really, "Omarosa" didn't even work for Omarosa
but alas, i will watch this season

I think they did one on the Tyra Banks show from comments on the television without pity boards, but since I dont know ANYONE who actually watches it I can't say...
How did it all og so astray? Project Runway seems to have SO much more cultural cache than this show- people seem to take that one seriously, but this one is a joke.

Because the people on PR actually have talent, unlike ANTM. People like to talk about "seeing" Eva, but really has she done much other that a few Essence spreads (not downing Essence, but it is not 'high fashion') and showing up at different 'events'.
Of course I am not sure that any of the designers from PR are household names either.

My thoughts exactly. Is it me or did I think Jay was dropping them a hint by giving them the eating disorder stereotypes? I know its a longshot and probably not true but you have to wonder how they pulled it off so well.

Excerpt from Potes' recap at TWOP:
And then, there is Cyndel, twenty, from Wichita, Kansas, who swirls her way in. Tyra asks Cyndel where she works. Cyndel says that she's an entertainer at a place called "Jezebels." Yeah, you know what that means, and so does Miss Tyra Banks. Cyndel interviews that she's an entertainer, not a stripper, and that there's a big difference. Dude, your name is Cyndel. Just own the fact that you're a stripper, already. Cyndel tells Panel that stripping is really just one more facet of the modeling industry. Seriously, you do not say that to Tyra Banks. Tyra gets that moralistic, self-righteous thing going on, and says that stripping is not a part of modeling. She says that she's not judging Cyndel (HA!) but reiterates that it's not a part of modeling. Okay, I agree. But it might be modeling's snaggletoothed, trailer-park resident second cousin. I'm just saying. Cyndel says that she hopes they don't get the wrong impression, and that the judges will love her. After she leaves, Tyra says with a mouthful of irony that she thinks Cyndel will be happy being a stripper, because it's the same as modeling. Hey everyone, do me a favor, and do a Googleimagesearch of TyraBanks. I'm just saying. In any case, Cyndel's not making it to the next round of anything.

I LOVE those recaps- they're far more fun than watching the show!

I see the pinchedness of Anchal's features now.
WTH does Jay Manuel have on?
Tyra's hair is a MESS. Straight up. Frederick, can you do Tyra's hair now? Please.
So are Monique and Eugena best friends now?
Here come Jaeda's tears.
