Alpha Xi Delta's Epsilon chapter at the University of South Dakota welcomed 27 new members last weekend...which was quota. I have not yet heard how A Phi, Theta, and Pi Phi fared...If I had to guess they also made quota or VERY close...as soon as I know more I'll post...
That should make 20 of 26 represented

My (step) cousin is rushing at my alma mater. I don't think it'd be right for me to talk to her about her experience every night seeing as though I just graduated in May and of course I'd persuay her to join Phi Mu! She went through rush last year and it was a last minute decision so she could only make 2 days (that's normal at our campus) and ended up with a bid to one chapter but turned it down. I told her to make sure she goes every night which will def up her chances of getting a bid in one of the other two chapters. Not guarantee, but she'll have a better chance to get to know the girls, and the girls will have a better chance to get to know her.

florida gulf coast university concluded fall formal recruitment activities over the weekend. i am happy to report that ALL pnms who went to a pref party received a bid, quota was 24(twice what it was for spring formal recruitment in january) tri delta pledged quota plus one and zta pledged quota.
after spring formal recruitment last year, the administration agreed to move formal recruitment to the fall and to allow true freshman to participate. now if we can just get them to hold recruitment the week before school starts!!

Jill, thanks so much for this thread! My computer has been dead for over a month, so when I signed on today -- I went right to your tally and was able to get a great overview of what I've missed!

I found this out about a week ago, but I have no clue why I didn't post about it yet...
My nephew pledged Sigma Phi Epsilon at the University of Michigan this fall!
We're totally excited about it in my family! My nephew is a sophomore and we thought he wasn't going to Rush since he decided not to last year. When he called me to say he had pledged, it was definitely a surprise (he didn't even tell any of us he was rushing!)
With him, my family breakdown is so:
My Mom and Aunt (her sister): AEPhi
My Father: ZBT
My Sister: ChiO
My Brother-in-law: AEPi
Me: DG
My Nephew: SigEp
(plus I have 1 cousin who is an AXO, 1 who is an SDT, 1 one who is a ZBT, and 1 who is an SAE)...
We're definitely all over the place--and I'm happy that no one in my family ever pressures anyone else to stick to any family lineage (especially since only the 2 ZBTs actually went to the same school).
Also exciting for me is that supposedly the SigEps at Michigan spend a lot of their time with the lovely ladies of DG there...which means one of these days I'll have to get up there to see their house!
