Just finally saw the episode today. I love the brothers more and more every week. I want to go drink beers with them. Hell, I want to go buy beers for them for the way they beat out Ray and Deanna. I was so nervous for them when the car rolled over and I'm glad they are ok and I hope the cameraman ended up ok.

And I don't think I would have stopped either. I probably would have rolled down the window and asked them if they were ok while driving by, but that's it. They clearly had enough people there helping them. And if you have ever watched the insider videos, you know the cameramen and production team are all always in constant contact with each other so if more help was needed it would have been gotten. There was nothing the other teams could have done anyways.

Anyone else think that Uchenna and Joyce are like Hera and Gus from last season. Enjoyng this race to the fullest? [/B][/QUOTE]

Yes and No.
No, because they are clearly more competitive then Hera and Gus were in the last race. They are more like the winners of the last race.

Yes, they are enjoying the race to the fullest---get to travel around the world with the person that you are close to. They get to compete with other teams and test their own enderance.

Uchenna & Joyce are my favorites this season...they are just so good hearted & try so hard (and def. more competitive than Gus & Hera, although I loved them too). As soon as they walked into that orphanage, I thought-they are going to come away from this race w/a stronger marriage, and will probably end up adopting a ton of kids. They should definitely be parents.

The brothers are my second favorite team...I love how close they are, and they are just hilarious. I'm glad i had read some spoilers b/f I watched the ep, otherwise I would have had 2 heart attacks - the first after the wreck, and the second as they were racing to the finish b/f Ray & Deana.

Rob & Amber are good for entertainment value, but I don't really want them to win. And did anyone catch Amber's face when Rob was being a jerk while they waited to see if they could do the fast forward--he was sayin "would you just make a decision for once" or something like that...she said nothing, but her face said "hey Rob - remember, I already won a million. You did not, so watch it...."

The boyfriends are working my last nerve. Sorry. They make me laugh occasionally, but usually they just piss me off.

If what the spoiler sites have been saying is true, then I'll be happy -- and I think many of you will be too -- with who wins the prize.

No matter who wins, I don't want to know. That's why I don't go to spoiler sites.

For those of us who don't mind knowing the outcome ahead of time (AKA me ), can you PM the link to the spoiler site you go to?

Thanks!

I LOVED this new episode. The brothers were so awesome and yes, I was crying when they came in.
As for for stopping, yes, I agree Lynn and Alex didn't have to stop for as long as they did but at least SLOW DOWN and say "are you okay". That's just being a decent human being. Rob and Amber seem to be getting a lot of breaks by being somewhat famous(ie, locals helping them--the lady in the market) so it wouldn't kill them to at least be decent. Sorry, but I cannot STAND them!!

But how do you know they didn't slow down? Because it wasn't shown? That's the amazing thing about editing. You don't know exactly what happened. Just like on TWoP it was pointed out that it was a re-enactment or footage from another time that was edited in for the car flipping over and wasn't that actual accident.

And regarding people helping them? That has happened many times and many seasons. This isn't something new to this season because Rob and Amber are on. Yes it's easier for them because people recognize them but many other teams on all seasons have "ferns" (as they refer to them over on TWoP) that help them find places and item.s

To be honest, I will be happy with any of them...at least relative to the winners last season. Freddy & Kendra SUCKED, and I hated it when they won. This season, the two teams I couldn't stand are gone, so now it's all just fun.

Dz, I agree with you about last season---Freddy and Kendra were hard to watch to win!

Also, I meant to say that Uchenna and Joyce were more like the winners of the Amazing Race 5---Chip and Kim in that they are enjoying themselves as they go. I forgot that Freddy and Kendra won the last race.

Getting locals to help was one of the few things Jonathan did well last season.

No one has posted about tonight yet?!?

I am so sad to see the brothers go. I was just a screaming when the boyfriends broke TWO cars. Like the one said, at least they went out with style. (But can you imagine them wearing those outfits for the rest of the race?

I am liking Uchenna and Joyce more and more each week, while I am just fed up with Ramber...

Harsh penalties this season. Can you imagine if it was longer than a nine mile drive to the pit stop???
