211. I love my PIONEERING Sorors because we are a group of TRAILBLAZING WOMEN. Wherever I go, whatever I want to be, it never ceases to amaze me when I remind myself that a DELTA has visited that place already, a DELTA has pioneered that field already, a DELTA has come up with that idea, a DELTA has walked that road already...

212. I love my beautiful Sorors because they are a source of STRENGTH to me as I pursue my doctorate, in a school where there are few other African-Americans to lean on for support, on a hostile campus. Collegiate Sorors, Sorors who pledged elsewhere and are in graduate school with me... and of COURSE my beloved sands and amazing chapter Sorors... they are ALL a source of inspiration, encouragement and love. When no one else understands my drive and ambition--not my family or friends or church sisters--my Sorors always tell me to "keep on holding on". (Y'all just don't know...

)

213. I love my sweet Sorors because so many of them are women of God, faith, and PRAYER, and we all know that the "prayers of the righteous availeth much"!

214. I love my wonderful Gamma Nu Neos. They are doing a phenomenal job of keeping the torch burning. Kudos to you Neos!! (even though you may not read this, I want the rest of the world to know that you all are doing a great job)

215. I love the fact that my Soror sent me a Thanksgiving greeting card - it was totally unexpected and so thoughtful.

216. I love the fact the our chapter has a program named "I am my Sister's Keeper" as a way of strengthening the sisterhood in the chapter. The purpose is to check on them ie phone call, lunch date, little gifts (I hooked my sister up at the last meeting), greeting cards, etc

217. I love that I can move around (and I've done some moving) the states and can find a chapter where there are so many loving sorors. I never fear moving and not knowing anyone.

218. I love that my sorors and I are holding it down at Citadel Mall, bringing holiday joy! We have been gift wrapping at the mall since the day after Thanksgiving and we will finish Christmas Eve. We bring all of our wrapping talents together and make it a little easier for those who are wrapping-challenged. And we also make money for our scholarship fund!

BTW: If you are near Citadel Mall in Charleston, SC, please have your gifts wrapped by us! We're in front of Dillards!

220. I love that my aunt has been very involved in Delta. She has been active in her chapter for many years and goes to regional and national conventions. Mom and I looked at some of her Delta items displayed at her home while we were in Atlanta this weekend. It's good to see her being so involved!

221. I love that the National Office sent every soror a holiday card and a reminder about our upcoming events! That really made my day!

222. I love that my friend and soror prayed for me tonight when I was going through a rough spell. We also went out to eat afterwards and had a good time! That's what sisterhood is about!

224. There is an accountant at my job who is SUPER fly, just a Diva in everyway, flawless attire, super tight salt and pepper TWA, and has always made an effort to mentor me. She has always showed so much love and has really made an effort to show me the ropes. When she found out I wasnt going home for the holidays she invited me to spend the holidays with her and her family, and after a brief conversation at lunch today, I found out that she was a Soror!!! Let me repeat, I am OH SO GLAD TO BE A DELTA GIRL!!!!

Just remember there is no apostrophe in Founders.
