Phi Mu will be opening a chapter at Middle Georgia State University in Spring 2025. This is the first NPC organization on the campus.

They tried long enough to get a group in there! Is this on the Macon campus?

OK, the old Macon State campus. MGSU combined with them and a couple of other schools awhile back.

The Purdue chapter of Theta Tau (Engineering Fraternity) disbanded and their 60+ members joined (merged with) Phi Kappa Tau. PKT took possession of their house too. There’s been pressure for years for the Theta Tau chapter to go co-ed, but they refused.

I do know in terms of specialized organizations there is an engineering sorority. Been a while since an org has disbanded and then the previous members join another.

Smile Phi Mu Delta

Phi Mu Delta has recently received permission to re-establish inactive chapters at Kenne State in NH. and the Un. of New Hampshire. Conversations are being held with other universities in the area for re-establishing inactive chapters.

Bloomsburg University (in PA) to bring back fraternities and sororities

Not really sure which GLOs were there in the past, nor how long it's been.

They're not "bringing them back" they're just re-recognizing them - the chapters never closed and were supported by their nationals. There is a whole thread on this. This article is either extremely poorly written or the chair and president who were interviewed were purposely fuzzy about the groups' current status. If it's the latter, that doesn't really give me a lot of hope.
