Yeah, I'll keep you guys posted on if we get back together, or how things go. He's got a 24hour break [meaning he can use the phone] on saturday, so I'm sure we'll talk. I think I just need to figure out what I want, not dwell on this.. because of course it won't change anything, and get happy and content being single. Because we ALL know that when we're not looking ,and we're content how things are, THAT's when the guys come strolling around the corner... lol

Highs 'n' lows

Highs: Finding this site!!! LOL, i know i've said it a lot on other posts, but i'm having such a good time meeting sisters and getting advice from everybody...it's friday, that's always good...my big sister *FINALLY* came to town and we hung out with my little after not seeing each other for two months (we're such a girls club )

Lows: Still have about four hours of work left and i'm sooooooo tired...realized that it's exactly one month until my boyfriend goes back to work (he's a teacher in another state, far far away...) which is super sad - i can relate to everyone with the long-distance blues. i think that after a year and a half, we have our routine pretty much figured out, which is good though, so i'm not worried about him leaving or anything....have to get my car fixed tomorrow

HIGHS:
I got my apartment! I move in on the 4th, which is only three weeks away. Yikes!
This will be an extra-social weekend for me. Last night, one of my favorite sisters and I just met for drinks and talked. I'm going out with some co-workers tonight, and another favorite sister's birthday party is Saturday night.
I am in love with the new computer I'm about to buy (PowerBook G4 for you Macheads). I've grilled everyone I know about computers, and Papa Munchkin has offered assistance (especially great 'cause they just paid for the apartment).
After a month of being sick, I'm finally feeling better.
It's not so hot in RI anymore! YAY!

LOWS:
I really can't say there are any lows. I'm glad I'm not the only one in a long-distance relationship--we're going on three years, so it's been working really well for us. This is my last summer before graduate school, and Mr Munch is moving to the city to be with me next year, so this is kinda my last summer being a kid. I'm surrounded by friends and sisters, so I'm not so lonely.

Highs:

-I've been shopping for stuff for when I move in the house this fall
-I've been able to see and talk to several of my wonderful sisters this summer
-I'm attending one's wedding soon (she's also my cousin)
-I'm very excited about recruitment!

Lows:

-I had 4 impacted wisdom teeth cut out the other day and it hurts!

Are you still swollen? Boy I know that hurts!

I feel for all you with the long distance/lets take a break scenarios. It's so hard...

I LOVED moving around, which I did a lot of in my younger days. I told friend I THINK I rearrange my furniture so much because I miss moving and get bored.

If I had to have Hubby home...IN THE HOUSE...UNDER MY FEET-----
I just might go crazy!!! I mean he drops his socks everywhere-
leaves glasses around and PAPERS as it IS! GOOD LUCK!

One day, a bunch of us were lunching and joking around about our husbands (funny stuff) an this "snit" says-"You should all be THANKFUL you have those socks to pick up and the dirt on the floor. One day they will be DEAD and you will MISS those things!"
Talk about losing your appetite!

Ha Ha I was drinking a choc. milkshake yesterday and thinking the same thing.

HIs: I closed on my house yesterday and am starting to move. I got an interest rate of 4.62%-woohoo!!! -though my mortgage is a 1000$ more than my condo. It will be a hard adjustment financially and unfortunately I will be eating lots of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. I am just so thankful to have the opportunity to own my dream home. It just proves that if you work hard for something and set a goal, it may take years but eventually that dream can come true.

Lows: my cousin died last week of pancreatic cancer. She wasted away for weeks-I am so disgruntled with human medicine for not allowing humane euthanasia. Why must people slowly die over weeks? Why must their limbs turn purple for days due to lack of circulation? Why can't we humanely euthanize? Sorry about the bleak topic but I just get so mad about this. I know I won't go like that.

ok I have the house, the job now I need to find a good man to share it with .

AggieAXO, congratulations on your place again, and sorry for your loss. I'll keep you in my thoughts, if that counts for anything.

Highs ...
Waiting for Block Party Friday - Old St. Pats. Better than Ezra is playing. Payday is Friday too!! Grad school could be a possibility - i will hear back from a grad assistant interview.

Lows ...
4 more days till Friday. Saw bunches of horses at a 3day eventing that I covered for work and it made me sad to miss what used to be a very important time in my life. I could be leaving Chicago.

Lows: One of my best friends is separating from her husband. It is so depressing. Fortunately there are no children so it will be a fairly clean break. I hurt for my friend.

Highs: Went to lunch and a movie with the girls and their godmother today! It was great to see her - she travels frequently and is hard to catch in town. The girls adore her and love spending time with her!

Lows: There was a SNAKE in our backyard today! It was a black snake, and Mr. AXO_MOM_3 seems to think it was living under our daughters playhouse! I am SO not well with this! YUCK! AggieAXO, I did make dh catch it and put it in a bucket instead of killing it! He took it to a creek near about a mile from our house and let it go there. If it had been poisenous, would have been a different story though! I'm calling the pest control people tomorrow to make sure there are not anymore lurking about in my backyard!

Highs: We are off to the beach again for a long weekend! I love summertime! (Except for non hibernating snakes!)

AXO_MOM_3 -THAT GAVE ME THE SHIVERS!
I am so sorry, but I happen to fall into that ignorant people category that believes the only good snake is a dead snake...but then, we have 'em hanging from the trees around here.

Low turns into a high
Someone tried to kill the neighborhood cat...I THINK. Poison was my thinking. His head started "ticking" lost all balance, couldn't move, wouldn't eat. Each day it improved ever so slightly. Funny thing, it never seemed to be in pain. Today it actually RAN to the door to say hello so I made it a scrambled egg.

oooooooooohh i was playing with a snake last weekend. It was this kid I'm friends with's roommates snake [did you follow all that]. It was a baby boa... so cute, 'cept it was fond of wrapping around my kneck and squeezing... well it was more like pulsing, I dunno. It was cool though..

Highs: Went to auburn, Al for Girls weekend, me, my mom, grandma, 2 aunts [dad's sisters], cousin, & new baby. We went shopping and ate a WHOLE lot... and just hung out. We came from all over, SC, IL, IN, & NJ.... and of course i was mommy's lil shopping buddy so she bought me clothes [to my objection, honest].
Also, I'm starting to move into my new apartment... which is walking distance to class and downtown [when i'm 21 ]... so no more commuting to class and dealing with that junk!! yayayay. Already met a new neighbor... he's a cutie, and he offered to help me move stuff in, but all I had were bags from the weekend, which I had nearly finished... so I said no thanx. BUT he was like, 'hey, I see you at the gym all the time'... I was like.. yup!! [i always pick up guys there... it's funny]
I lost 3.5 lbs last time I checked but that was before I ate all that food this weekend ... BACK TO THE GYM!

Lows:
My class schedule got messed up. One class was changed for another that I have to take, so now I can't take what I had initially planned on taking. So I had to redo ALL my classes, and I'm one who needs stuff to be organized and planned in advance [when it comes to class and work and such]... grrrrrrrr made me so mad. I was emailing with my advisor ALL day on thursday & Friday

But it's sorta settled now! But I have to take another programing/lab class which i thought i was done with.. booooo.

Lows: I just euthanized my dog Ashley tonight-she was in kidney failure and lost 15# in 3 weeks. It was a very difficult decision but her quality of life had deteriorated in the last 2 weeks and it was time. My mother was so heartbroken-Ashley lives with her most of the time and was her protector. She went peacefully in my arms. I will miss her but I know I will see her again someday.

aggieAXO - I am SO sorry to hear about your loss! I am sending love and prayers your way (and your mom's) to help you get through this! I am glad that you are such a kind and caring person who can take such good care of our animal friends, even when it hurts to do the right thing. I hope that you will have lots of happy patients in the coming weeks so you can focus on what a wonderful service you do for humankind even though its through our four-legged friends!

Oh, and I will also send a message up to Hobbes (our ferret whom we sent to the Rainbow Bridge back in November) to please mind his manners and be nice to Ashley -- Hobbes was a little spoiled and used to things his way, so we have to remind him to share and be nice up there

Love in our Bond!!

N,

Thank you so much for your kind words-I really appreciate it. Ashley was a very loving dog(she loved cats! so i am she would have gotten along with ferrets too) and even if Hobbes still wants things his way I am sure she will be fine with that.

K
