I too am only a SF, so you can't try and blame this post on me thinking I'm on a pedestal because of some letters. But lately, you have come to be one of THE most annoying people I've encountered on GC, straight up. Your posts were insightful when you first registered, but this needs to stop. If you really are as intelligent as you claim, then you would realize that your attempts to be clever and "rise above" just ain't working. Give it up.

it was an ANALOGY...and had nothing to do with the quality of an INDIVIDUAL...once again...a person that can truly afford expensive clothing does not wear big ol' outward labels...they wear inward labels because their financial status does not have to be broadcast...i KNOW who i am...and i know my worth...i believe i already relayed that fact...it is not OVERCONFIDENCE...as i saw someone call someone elses knowledge of self...it is fact...and it isn't debatable from my end...but if it helps YOU to break it down like that sistah soldiah...do what you gotta do...
i hope that everything i throw out does come back to me...should i be affraid to assert myself because of who you think you are...and who you think i am not...

their working for me...and that's all that matters...because i am as intelligent as i claim...i realize that my cleverness and my rising above the top are working...otherwise i wouldn't be encountering such evil... give up is not in my vocabulary...and since you are a sisterfriend...you may just remain that way until give up is eradicated from your vocabulary...

Think again. How valued our opinions are on GC as sisterfriends has been an issue for awhile. But if you read back (you seem to be real good for reviving 2 year old controversial posts, so that should be no problem for you), you'll see that even when a SFs opinion differs from that of a member (when it comes to Greek affairs) they are still given a certain level of respect when they present themselves well and possess the ability to bring some clarity to what they assert. You dear, have garnered no respect from anyone here simply because of your nasty attitude. Blanketing your posts with smiley faces and that silly slogan doesn't hide it. But that's you and your business.
What I DO take offense to is you telling me what I will and and will not be. "Give up" in this case does not apply to reaching one's goal or standing up for something substantial. It applies to mindless babbling about ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, which is what each of your posts are. Seriously, what is the point of participating in a discussion if your only means of communicating is through cryptic posts that (at this point) have have deteriorated into this non-sensical phrase you keep espousing. Recently your posts have deteriortated into some odd comibination of hostility/arrogance about how much better and more knowledgeable you are about EVERYTHING (including all things greek( and tbis quotes encased in peace and blessings as though any thing in the post was peaceful or enlightened. Maybe instead of attacking everyone out here, it is time for a little QUIET reflection on what kind of vibe you are putting out there.
Now, as enlightened as you seem to feel you are, how will you respond to all of this? Are you going to simply dismiss me and the dozen other women who have let you know what vibe you are projecting by saying we are all on a pedastool just because we are greek (or not greek as other sf's have chimed in) or will you stop to realize that odds are there is at least a hint of truth to the consensus? If you goal is to teach , even if you are 100% correct in everything you think, you are still failing miserably because you have failed to articulate your thoughts well. You cannot be a messenger if you fail to deliver the message? Get it? And if you are not about sharing your thoughts, why the HELL be here at all? Truly enlightened women are always open to change and willing to take honest looks at her own words, deeds and actions, can you?

I don't know what you do for a living Vicki, but did you know you posted at total of 14 times on this thread yesterday and so far today you've posted 9 times today.
Here's an idea  ...go outside and enjoy the weather instead of sitting on your butt and posting up a storm.
No offense but posting like every five minutes could get you booted for flaming  .

i don't know who YOU are...but don't try to figure me out...not only have i been outside in between the 9 posts you took the time to count...i walked 2 miles to my CAMPUS to take a two hour final...chilled a bit and then came back home...how'd she do it...its magic ya'll...heehee...you'll go crazy...don't do it... as i was...oh, i have even cooked a meal...had a cup of o.j....used the restroom a couple times and cruised other sites...i guess it comes from all that training back in the day...don't do it...
