You have 60 days to watch these movies or face permanent expulsion

Roots
Shrek
New Jack City

I saw Do the Right Thing like 99999999999999999999 times in UG thanks to Dr. Copeland.

Check to see if your library has Roots since it is 7 tapes; save some money.

Great Point.

I've rented some old black and white from the library. It's a wonderful resource.

Maybe I should check and see if they have Scarface so I can keep my Men's Club Pass.

All About Eve is a GREAT movie. I find Casablanca boring and Citizen Kane just ok.

But definitely go rent All About Eve. That one's great!

I've never seen:

Casablanca (Sad, it was rated #2 by AFI. But, it's on my coffee table as we speak...watching it tonight)

Citizen Kane (ranked #1 by AFI. attempted once, but didn't make it)

Schindler's List

It's a Wonderful Life (I am just stubborn; it comes on a billion times during the holidays)

All about Eve (love old movies, but whenever it comes on, I'm distracted)

Raging Bull

Annie Hall

Doctor Zhivago

The Philadephia Story

Abaici,

Schindler's List is very depressing , so don't watch it alone.

Is it anymore depressing than the Pianist? I finally broke down and rented that movie (love Adrian Brody, object to Roman Polansky).

I was broken down!! I had to stop the movie more than once.

Office Space is hilarious!! If you have never seen it, you must. I've only worked in an office setting once in my entire life, and I could relate. If you work in an office, I think you will REALLY like it.

Of the ones on this list, I'd say you definitely need to check out "Blazing Saddles". Oh my, it's one of the funniest movies of ALL TIME.

As far as "Mahogany"...you'd remember if you saw it based on this:

"Let me tell you something and don't you ever forget it...success is NOTHING without someone you love to share it with!!"

ANY BLACK FOLKS WHO HAVE NOT SEEN "SPARKLE" SHOULD IMMEDIATELY TAKE THEIR "BLACK CARD", PUT IT IN AN ENVELOPE, AND MAIL IT TO ME.

I will hold it until you find and view this black classic. You have not lived until you have heard "Sista and the Sistas" sing "Giving Him Something He Can Feel"...they make En Vogue's version look like crapola. And don't get me started with "Hooked On Your Love"...

And a young Phillip Michael Thomas...he was hot ta def!!

And who could ever forget Satin saying, "I want you to crawl for me baby."

"Sista can't fly with just one wing!!"
