Chapter: Sigma
School: University of Washington
Year joined: 2001
Status: Active Collegiate
Current offices: Freshman Educator, also have been Director of Adminstration and Rush Assistant.
Why I chose Alpha Phi: It was the house I always felt like I was at home at. I felt loved here even during Rush, which is something everyone needs but hardly anyone gets. I talked to the same girl throughout rush and when she couldn't pref me, she hand-picked someone for me to talk to. After a very difficult day at preference, the Alpha Phi I talked to told me that she hoped my decision was much better by the end of the hour and after sharing her experiences with me she hoped that my decision would be easier to make that night. I almost started crying and told her that I knew it would be now! Needless to say I was on those same steps the next morning!

I choose Alpha Phi because I loved the girls and the atmosphere that they created when I first walked in the door.

I was wondering if you or any of your older members remember a sister by the name of Sarah Cook? I was just wondering?

Why I Joined.... I felt the love and warmth and genuine care when I walked into the room filled with Alpha Phis! They treated each woman who went through recruitment as if she was so important and they truly cared about her being there. I knew the second I met them that I was meant to be an Alpha Phi!!
Hey yall! I'm brand new to Greekchat! This is actually my first post! Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hey!!
QUICK NOTE!!! APHIATDUB....do you by any chance know Taylor?!?! She was our ELC this past semester and we fell IN LOVE with her!! Was she the President who spoke with you about Alpha Phi?
sorry this was so long!!

Why I Joined.... I was drawn to the website, and as soon as I found out AI was even possible. . . I had a feeling it was home. When I met the co-presidents of the alumnae chapter, they were so warm and welcoming, and all the women in the chapter have been the same way. I think AOE stands for Angels on Earth.

I'm in the Bay Area too! I'm the Recruitment Advisor at SFSU. Were you at Conference this year? It's hard to guess because our Northern CA chapters are all awesome!

My guess based on info provided is that she is the RA from Santa Clara.
Regardless of whether I am correct, welcome to GC.

Why I chose Alpha Phi: I really wanted to join a sorority and I found out the first time I met them that a friend of my family is an Alpha Phi. That basically sealed the deal. And I've never regretted it for a moment.

hello
Name: Meg k. Sprange
Chapter: Beta eta
School: university of winnipeg
Year joined: 2003
Status: active
Offices: Vp of marketing and philanthropy
Why Alpha Phi: I was really interested in philanthropy, and wanted to get more involved and possibly take charge in that, so i went through formal recruitment to see what this whole sorority buisness was. I found Alpha phi to be fun kind and full of life. They all made me feel welcome and like I belonged. I didn't get that from the other groups. SO yay for alpha phi WOO HOO
