Those were my thoughts.

That's the secret soap opera formula - couples have to break up so that we can watch for the rest of the season as to who they can get back together.

I was so glad that Edie called out Susan's Serial Bride habit.
My thought is too that Dave will now go after Katherine instead of Susan.

Gabby's kid are so awful. I swear I'd ground Juanita for life if she was my child. Good thing I don't have kids yet.

I enjoyed it too, but there were some continuity errors. They showed Lynette being pregnant with the twins and then with Penny during her vignettes with Eli. Then when they did the one with Mary Alice, they said it was two years prior to her shooting herself when he first came to Wisteria Lane and she found something for him to fix. The show started when Mary Alice shot herself and Parker and Porter were more than two years old then.

The waterworks started flowing when he was at Mary Alice's house and continued throughout the rest of the show. I think we all need an Eli in our lives.

It was a good episode! Sad, though. I enjoyed seeing more into the history of the Lane: Edie's gay husband, Lynette's tired uterus, Bree's "perfect" marriage, Susan tossing out Carl, Gabby's self-centeredness, and Mary Alice's suicidal behavior.

I've been watching Sports Night on DVD, which featured both Felicity Huffman and Brenda Strong. It's hilarious to see the two of them stand next to each other!

Me too! I lost it when they both leaned over and we saw the hole in his shoe. It broke my heart.

My TV online guide thingie is saying that the same episode is on this week. I know they said "in two weeks" or something during the last previews, but I hope they're not showing the same episode two weeks in a row!

Yea I noticed that too?

I don't remember them saying "in two weeks"...though I didn't pay much attention to the end.
