Very sad.

I just watched a rerun of the gourmet chef heroine addict. It was sad because he has SO MUCH potential. Great cook, excellent sense of humor, and a woman who seems to love him so much.

I have to say that this is one of the funnier Interventions. He tasted his food, did the happy dance, and started dry humping her in the kitchen. Not as amusing as the "walking on sunshine" woman.

Tonight's ep was pretty sad.

But I love that his kids were able to say such great things about him, because he got the help he needed and was sober for the last bit of his life.

I saw that episode, too. That was the saddest episode that I have seen. He got sober, but it was too late.

That was such an emotional episode. Those kids were begging him to get help.

I like it sometimes as a teaching tool for my kids as to why we dont do drugs. You hurt more than yourself. The lost souls they profile on that show remind me so much of my former patients. It's very sad.

Her babies were covering their ears at the dinner table while the alcoholic and her sister were fighting and cursing. So sad.

Couldn't help but think of "ear muffs" from old school at that point, not like that blocked anything out for those poor kids. How could she act like that in front of her own children! It's all made so much worse when kids are involved.

Her husband reminds me of Jason Priestley.

The reunion with her kids made me teary as soon as her son started running.

Her son and daughter are so cute.

Her son is so outspoken and articulate. From the mouths of babes.

Bulimic tonight.

They are showing her vomit. We can see the vomit. This is gross.

ETA: She's in a sorority at Oregon State. She said she perfected the art of binging and purging in college. Her parents would clean 30 bags of vomit from her room. Eek.

Eating disorder

This is the grossest Intervention EVER.

She feeds through a tube and uses a spit cup. She chews the food and spits it out.

She doesn't care WHO she is around.

She had the nerve to say she doesn't do it for attention. If you don't like it, don't look at her. Eh...she was feeding herself coffee through the tube in her waist and SHE called out someone's name and waved at them. That person wasn't paying her any attention until she called their name. She likes the attention she receives.
