Pretty sure none of the big four paid for their dresses. I watched the E! Red Carpet premiere episode and most of them made it very clear that the dresses has been given/loaned to them. One of them even said she was planning on having the dress back by midnight. LOL.

It's basically all PR for the designers. What Nina Ricci/Olivier Theyskins did (or their peons, I guess) was in extremely bad taste. Though God knows I love his designs.

I saw the movie again tonight, this time with my mom. What's so weird is that I never noticed the first time I saw the movie that Sam wore the ring on her engagement finger.

The husband and kid are out of town tonight, so I treated myself to the movie. I really enjoyed it.

The guys in my boyfriend's MBA class said that they were forced to go to the movie with their wives or girlfriends. They were ranting about how it was torture (LOL)....anyone drag their boyfriends/husbands to the movie?

I brought my b/f with me. I asked him if he would see it with me, and he agreed. I didn't drag him with me. He says it wasn't bad...he was laughing just as much as I was throughout the movie!

So I had plans to see it Friday with another friend... we met up for drinks and went to the theater... but it was sold out! I know we should have bought tickets online but we figured it wasn't opening weekend, so we wouldn't have a problem getting in.

We even tried a few other theaters in the area and ended up going to a piano bar instead since it was sold out everywhere on Friday

Went and saw it with about 10 girls from work this past Friday. We all dressed to the nines in cocktail dresses and went out for drinks and bar hopping after. At one point during the movie someone cheered and tapped their glass like a toast, so someone was obviously drinking, which made the entire theatre clap.

My group of friends went with a guy. There's a guy in our friend group that previously watched the entire series with his ex-girlfriend. They've been broken up for 2-3 years now, but he still likes the show and wanted to see the movie with people. It was funny because he was definitely the only guy in the theatre.

I agree with everyone, I think the movie wrapped it all up nicely. I know that when a movie makes a certina amount of $$$, a sequel is an automatic, but seriously, unless it is a BANGING plot, I don't understand what they could come up with.

If they think the fan base is still there, maybe they should just bring back the series instead. I mean, if they can bring back 90210 and frickin' Night Rider, they could bring this back too.

No sequel!

I'd rather them wait a couple of decades and re-do the series in a few decades with characters that have connections to Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Sam.

ETA: DVD is released TODAY!

I heard that there would be a SATC trilogy (from my best friend's husband). Has anyone else heard this?

PLEASE NO!!!

I love SATC as much as the next girl, but we do not need a Lord of the Rings Trilogy for SATC.

One movie ... good. Two? Ehhhh maybe. Not three!!!

I thought they ended the series to "go out while the people loved them"? If they drag it out they might as well make it a series again

That's what I'm saying! I don't even care for a sequel to be honest. It's fine just as it is.

Nobody I've talked to about it has heard it would be a trilogy so maybe he was talking out of his @$$ just to get at me.
