If this had been a non-elimination round, I would've been SO pissed. Lake was one of the worst guys ever on this show. I mean, one second it's "Shut up, bitch!" and then it's "Good job baby!" and then it's "You screwed up dangit!" and then "Good job baby!" Just ew.
I was SO glad R & Y made up so much time and that the hippies weren't eliminated. They're cheesy, but they're just having so much fun with everything it makes me like them.

Awww, man! Where am I supposed to learn new quasi-cuss words.
::kicking rocks and walking slowly away::
I want Fran and Barry to go next. They annoy me.

History of the previews suggest it will be either MOJO or Franbarry next to go, unless the Frat Boys really blow it! Unless, of course, it is a non-elimination round finally.

I think they should make a rule that anyone using the word, "baby" is eliminated on the spot. It is so annoying. Don't these couples have names? "C'mon, baby," "Baby, let's go" "You can do it Baby" "Go Baby go"...... shuddup! I have never called my boyfriend "Baby," and if I was ever called Baby, I'd probably resort to my judo training

So what happened this week? ANTM and Gilmore Girls (I think) won over TAR again for me... stupid new time slot...

Eric and Jeremy got the fast forward, three teams got 15-minute penalties at the mat for not following directions, BJ & Tyler drove for and hour or two in the wrong direction, and Lake & Michelle were Philiminated. The teams are in Greece, and the current standings are:
1. -- Eric and Jeremy (Team Frat Boys/Casanovas/Beach Bums) -- their prize was red-carpet tickets to the premiere of the heavily-product-placed "The DaVinci Code."
2. -- Joseph and Monica (Team MoJo)
3. -- Ray and Yolanda (Team Finally-Doing-Better, except if they hadn't gotten a 15-minute penalty they would have been in second place)
4. -- Fran and Barry (Team Frankenbarry)
5. -- BJ and Tyler (Team Hippies)
I'm starting to wonder if they've done away with non-elimination rounds this season.

Same here. Twice now I've expected one and then it didn't come.

Unless the network's website is acting as a red herring, there's got to be a few coming up (or maybe additional continuation legs?) - the site lists 14 episodes.

Something will definitely have to happen -- that's 7 episodes left with only 2 teams to be eliminated before we have the final 3. I have been thinking there might be a few more 2-episode legs. There may also be a recap episode or a "scenes you didn't see" episode before the final episode or two. Maybe there is still a non-elimination leg to come.

Well there ya go- no one went bye-bye. At least I'm assuming they didn't b/c the 15seconds I saw BJ/Tyler were turning over their possessions.

Darn it! I was hoping they'd be eliminated. I got really turned off with the hippies with all of their mugging for the camera. They really grated on my nerves in Italy when they made fools out of themselves by constantly saying "bon journo" to everyone in a whacky accent. Ugly Americans!
Yeah for the older couple! I hope they win.

There should be at least one more non-elimination rounds. I think Phil said there were two.

I had very mixed feelings. I do not like watching the hippies at all (except for the imitation of Lake last night -- that was priceless.) I think they are annoying and definitely mugging. You can be entertaining on the race (Jeremy to the camel: "Don't give me any lip.") without the subtext of "Look how wacky and entertaining we are. People love us!"
At the same time, they and the frat boys have been the best teams race-wise. Both have made some stupid navigation mistakes in the last two legs, but they still are overall better than the other 3 remaining teams. I could live with them not being eliminated because they are good racers.
I try to like FrankenBarry, but I just can't. I doubt they'll win. If they do, I'll be glad to see the requisite older couple finally pull it off, but I still won't really like them.
And I said it 6 pages ago:
Ray and Yolanda . . . said that the race is the most amount of time they've spent together, I'm predicting either a melt-down or that they work surprisingly well together. My money is on the melt-down.
Okay, so maybe it's more like a deep freeze than a melt-down, but I knew it would come.

I still love Fran and Barry, and I admire Fran's ability to read maps, which is very important key in this game. I like it that they won the trip to Rome, but didn't they just depart from Rome a couple days before?
Ray/Yolanda and frat boys seem to find the navigation challanging. Err as much as I love Ray to be a Greek, he should know better than fly the bird to Yolanda, especially after the tattoo crest showing last episode. Talking about respecting ladies, geez ....
I play neutral on the hippies, yes they're ugly and too frantic sometimes, but definetely add flavor to TAR. They always try to respect the locals by learning the local language, which very rare for Americans. LOL I can't imagine how grungier they will be after have to turn in their possession, i.e. no changing clothes, deodorant, etc? As if they were using them before the non-philimination.
MoJo is very bland, nothing happen (yet) except Monica's break down carrying a fish. Whoop de doo, fish juice all over you.
I can't believe they would go to Aussie first than Asia. And not so much in Africa, eh? (yet). Places I would love to see them going: Perth (Australia), Djibouti, Ghana, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Japan.
(hint: how about the shot of Mt. Fuji in the beginning of the episode?)
