Jesus, I don't understand why people would hurt their own kids by doing something as vicious as injecting them with the HIV virus.

I get emotional about this because at my advanced age (41 in October) and health problems, I may never be able to conceive. Also, some bad decisions I made (namely sticking with this career instead of going to law school) could rob me of a chance to adopt because of financial issues. This stuff makes me mad and sad.

It's never too late to go to law school or adopt a child.

Wichita Pastor Says His Home Was Targeted By A Cross Dressing Crook

June 6 - A Wichita pastor reports an unusual crime. He says a cross dressing crook broke into his home.

The pastor says an intruder that broke into his home made himself right at home, using the VCR and hot tub, even trying on the pastor's wife's nightgowns (ROFL).

Pastor Steve Moler's wife found the man standing in her kitchen when she got home from church on Sunday.

Pastor Steve Moler says, "He had put "Karate Kid 2" in the video player and was laying on the couch watching television. When she came home he was getting a drink out of the refrigerator."

Moler says his wife immediately ran to the neighbors and called 911. Meanwhile the Molers famly and friends started arriving for lunch. While several of the men tried to corner the intruder, Moler's family says the man kept carrying the pastor's rifles out of the house and throwing them behind the backyard fence. Moler got home just a few minutes later, he says he immediately ran into the house, grabbed his handgun and started looking for the intruder

What gets me most is the commentary.

TOKYO (Reuters) - Two kittens picked the wrong place to relieve themselves when they urinated on a fax machine,

sparking a fire that extensively damaged their Japanese owner's house.

Investigators in the western city of Kobe have concluded that the fire in January was caused by a spark generated when the urine soaked the machine's electrical printing mechanism.

The fire damaged the kitchen and living room before it was put out by the house's owner, who was treated for mild smoke inhalation, said Masahito Oyabu, a fireman at the Nagata fire station in central Kobe.

The kittens quickly ran to safety, he added.

"If you have a cat, or a dog for that matter, be careful where they urinate," Oyabu said. "Especially keep them away from electrical appliances and wires."

30 Women Beat Beauty School Robber With Curling Irons

Armed Man Hospitalized After Beating

A group of 30 women armed with curling irons and table legs beat a suspected armed robber until he collapsed at a beauty school in Shreveport, La., according to a Local 6 (Orlando, FL) News report.

Police in Shreveport responded to a robbery call at Blalock's Professional Beauty College Tuesday after a 24-year-old man walked into the school, pointed a gun at an instructor and demanded cash.

The women overwhelmed Jared Gipson, 24, and beat him until he was bleeding on the floor, according to the report.

Gipson tried to escape but the women pulled him back into the building and continued the beating, police said.

"Oh, I put something on him, baby," school instructor Dianne Mitchell said. "He wasn't coming up out of here and telling nobody he robbed us and got away with it."

Gipson was transported to a nearby hospital in good condition but will need stitches, according to the report.
