Lots has been going on here! I just finished writing my first lesson plans. I'm not sure I did them right, though! I wrote lessons on the historical impact of 9/11.

Some of you already know, but my 20 year old cousin died August 25th. He had celebrated his 1 year wedding anniversary 2 days before. When they got married, he adopted her 4 year old son and she is now expecting their baby in May. She got a dr. confirmation the day before the funeral. It's been an emotional roller coaster!!

My best friend is getting initiated in November as an alumna initiate. Yay!

The lesson plan could be used for either history or government. It could probably be used for middle school social studies, too! I wrote up two geared towards different types of intelligences (verbal-linguistic and visual-spatial). I'm working on my Masters in Secondary Ed, so that was for my methods class!

Thanks for the hugs and congrats! They are much appreciated.

The lesson plan just struck me because I'm a Middle School Ed, Social Studies major. That's all I'm taking a Methods class right now too!

Well, another one of my sisters is preg. and due in Nov. She called me last night to tell me that they finally found out the sex and have chosen a name. This little legacy is going to be named Elizabeth Grace Stovall. If you remember, my bff named her little legacy Grace Ann....is Grace the popular name now? With all these little legacies running around...someone is going to have some great baby turtles in about 20 years!

Hope everyone has a FAB weekend! Be safe!

Some days.. being the President of the "Born To Lose" Club is just inevitable.

Born To Lose Club = Everyone who just sucks at life due to bad, stupid or just not cool things happening to you on a fairly regular basis. 50% of my Chapter is in the Born To Lose Club. I frequent the President's position the most out of anyone.

Yeayyy! I am sick today, no work! (not really, does anyone want to go shopping with me?)

My school has made me really anger. Today they are goin on the honor roll field trip. It is my areas turn to chaperone. I am not going, which was fine with me. Yesterday, I found out that not only would I be watching my students that did not go, but also the band teacher's kids, the other PE teacher's kids, and the computer lab's classes. They were going to throw 3 more classes on me to babysit...prob. about 75-80 total in each of my classes for the day! Since I am the youngest on board, by a lot, I always get dumped on. I decided last night I was going to get a stomach virus. I called in at 6:15 AM...in the 4 years of teching, I have never called in sick and have taken VERY few days off. Oh well, theres a first time for everything! Yeayyy long weekend and Yeay for going to Saks this morning!

Hope everyone has FAB plans for the weekend!

I had the most wonderful date (yeah, actual date..not just hanging out like usual) with a friend last night. Anyone got any feelings on dating guy friends. We all run around in a large group, so it was kinda different with him picking me up, paying and all. (plus, no one else around!) Ahhhh....he just makes me SMILE SMILE SMILE!

sorry for all the gushing!

oh yeah, and I have read "He's just not that into you" let's see if I learned anything!
