I am an EE( UNIVERSITY OF GEORGIA) alum from the 80's( not telling which end). I am involved in an alum group in town. I have helped with rush here some. I love Sigma Kappa and loved the time in the house. I have boys that will marry SK girls or they won't have my blessing. Would love to connect with women from my era and ask others about their chapters.
Sigma Love,
DAWG

Welcome to both SigKapDawg & to hippie134!
It's always great to have new blood here on GC. Feel free to ask any of us GC "oldies" if you have any questions or concerns.
You're funny SigKapDawg. I told my hubby that if and when we have daughters, they WILL become Sigma Kappa's & that any sons we have MUST marry a Sigma Kappa or they are disowned. Alas, he reminded me that there are Alpha Phi's, Delta Zeta's, & Alpha Chi Omega's on his side of the family so I had to reverse my stand & allow my daughters & sons to go that way too.

Ooh yay! I'm a SK junior too! Stop by Florida's chapter if you ever go down south! We're very lonely for Sigma Kappas here in Florida as we're the only chapter.

I would definitly LOVE to stop by sometime...we go to Florida most Spring Breaks, so maybe if we get some sisters together we can come by, unless of course ya'lls is the same time, because that wouldnt work! That is sad you get lonely. ..we have two chapters in Georgia. I guess there aren't many chapters down here in the south!!

Hello from Kentucky!
Hi!
I am an old Sigma Kappa. I graduated from Kentucky Wesleyan College in 1972. I am trying to locate my college roomate. Her name was Pam Hager. I believe her name is Pam Van Dyke. I heard from her about 20 years ago, and she was living in CA. If anyone knows her whereabouts I would love to know. All of my fondest memories of college have been with my sorority sisters. Did we ever have fun!!! I still keep in contact with one, Val Dando, from PA, but would love to here from some. In 1970 our college was small and sororities and fraternities were great. Everyone knew just about everyone, and we sure had fun at the dances, parties, etc. Well, sorry I talked so much, but this is my first time doing this. I am a middle school teacher and am enjoying a snow day in KY. Hope everyone has a great day!! Jane

Hello! Glad you at least get a snow day, we're just getting sub-zero temperatures. Your best bet for tracking down your roommate (I'm assuming she's a SK as well ) is to look her up on the Sister's Only side of the website. If you can't get on there let us know and someone can walk you through it or tell you who to ask.
