HC I am sitting under the dryer while I'm cruising the Ave and the Blvd?
HC I used to be hairdresser addict, meaning my hairdresser was the only person who did my hair?
HC I hated washing my own hair and only did it if it was an absolute emergency?
HC I just let my hairdresser handle everything?
HC this past summer, I started taking a more proactive stance towards my haircare?
HC I wash my own hair at least once a week now?
HC I have done product research and use only salon quality products on my hair?
HC the last time my stylist did my hair, I asked her about each product she was using and why?
HC my hair looks better than ever?
HC I don't have to just take my stylist's word for something about my hair?
HC if she tells me that I have breakage or dry scalp, I can see for myself?
HC before, I used to instantly turn to micros when I was between stylists?
HC now, I can handle my hair myself?
HC when did librasoul decide to leave for good?
HC I know that she was very passionate about the gay marriages thread and I really haven't seen anything else from her since?

HC this is my first time HC'ing for the new year?
HC it's my first time in months?
HC I'm happy to HC right now b/c I miss this thread soooooooo much?
HC I start school again next Monday?
HC I'm kinda excited?
HC it's b/c I wasn't in school last semester?
HC it was by "FORCEABLE CHOICE"?

HC it's okay b/c I'm gonna clarify it for ya?
HC it was by force b/c my financial aid hadn't come through in time for me to keep the classes I registered for and, in essence, they were dropped.
HC it was by choice b/c I needed a break; I felt like I was running out of steam.
HC it was a break spent resting and catching up on some good reading mostly b/c I couldn't find a job, even at the new Walmart? 
HC it's okay b/c there's always Work-Study?
HC I try to remain positive b/c I'll be graduating soon?
HC I do have my times when I feel kinda like hope is tooooo far away, especially with the weirdos I live with?
HC after graduation, I'll be heading to the Dirrrrty South to attend law school?
HC b4 all of that, during my Spring Break, I'll be visiting the schools I wanna apply to in order to get a tour of the campus and to sit in on a couple of classes, as well as take the LSAT?
HC I can't wait?!?!?!?!

HC I start classes today
HC I decided to forgo continuing my studies in history, in order to pursue an MPA
HC I'm excited!!
HC My community is getting on my nerves!!
HC I thought the MLK parade was as bad as it gets
HC It was, but the Black College Expo was up there
HC I was one of the Spelman reps
HC EVERY BLACK GIRL IN CALIFORNIA visited our table
HC I lost my voice during the course of the day from screaming over the music..yes, music
HC There were TWO radio stations at the college fair
HC The atmospehere was not that of a typical college fair
HC The LA Times article on the fair heralded, "When a College Expo's a party too"
HC "le sigh"
HC My annoyance only grew after reading the article
HC It included a sterotype of Spelman
HC I was not pleased!!
