Vonda, girl how old are you? I remember Romper Room. Do you remember the little yellow can-like things with the green plastic cords that you walked on? I had some and I remember them being a toy they had on Romper Room. Oooh girl, so very long ago.
Do we remember the Lemon Twist? Better yet, do you remember when you could wear it around your waist ?
What about ZOOM and New Zoo Reveiw (Henrietta Hippo)?
AKAtude, you (or somebody, so many posts ago)mentioned Degrassi Junior High, I watched that too. Tell me if you can think of the name of this dance show that used to come on SCETV on Saturday night. It would feature kids from SC schools (high school or junior high). I remember watching it but can't conjure up the name.
Speaking of dancing...Dance Fever w/ Denny Terio...Solid Gold...the REAL Soul Train...America Bandstand...what about Casey Kasem's Top Ten?
I feel so old, but its nice looking back!!

The kool-aid with the white stick is called Lik-m-aid (sp). Do we remember...
"Don't eat Pop Rocks with soda. A kid in Texas died doing that"
When Bartles and James wine coolers first came out, the old men on their commercials, "Thanks for your support"
Tuck combs in every color to match every outfit, wearing more than one color at a time
Wearing mismatched earrings, one long and a stud
What about Ray Parker, Jr. (Where is he now?)
When the FOX network first started (21 Jump Street, Gary Shandling Show, the old Simpsons)
Has anyone mentioned Falcon Crest, Knots Landing, Dallas? What about daytime...Capital, The Edge of Night?
Are we setting a record with all these posts in a single thread? Does anybody know?

Does anyone remember the television show Manimal?
And speaking of movies--"Lady Sings the Blues"--it was the first movie to make me cry.
Between "Lady" and "Mahogany", Diana Ross was THE woman--I wanted to BE her!
Oh, now I'm singing "Upside down, boy, you turn me. . ."

I wonder what ever happened to that chinese-looking woman, you know that was Pre-vietnameese, asian , and korean days, anyway that woman with the long hair that was on Soul Train. You know she was a Sat. morning Icon. We would put scarves and towels on our heads tying to imitate her, but ususally breaking our necks from swinging too much!
what about Klymaxx, "Meeting in the Ladies room" ...Don't slap me 'cause I'm not in tha mood..."
Sheila E- "The Glamorous Life"
RFTW(Ready for the World) "Oh Sheila", NO...oh those dang drippy curls (LOL)!
Midnight Star-"No parking on the dance floor"
And that TV show, BET aired it when it was cancelled, but it had Morris Day and Sheryl Lee Ralph, they worked in a beauty shop! I forgot the name of the show
"Don't push me, cause I'm close to the edge...I'm tryin not to loose my head...ahaha ha ha, it's like a jungel sometimes it makes me wonder how I keep from goin under..."
What ever happened to MS Melody?
Vanity 6 (liked her)
Appolonia 6 (didn't like her)
remember when mousse first came out... we always tried to get our hair to stand like Patti Labelle
Movies: Fast Times at Ridgemont High,
An Oficer and a Gentleman,
All the movies with the "Brat Pack"
I LOVED ROB LOWE!
scary movies, when they were REALLY scary
Halloween, Monkey Shines, Friday the 13th
SORRY, IT'S SO LONG...I JUST COULD NOT STOP!
