when i watched beyonce's video, all i kept thinking was "don't be fooled by the rocks that i got...i'm stil, i'm still beyonce from the block."

Word. I thikn videos from the Caribbean are superior in general because they focus on the SONG and the MUSIC and isn't that what videos are supposed to be about? Not stupid little mini movies.
I am actually digging Beyonce's video.
*avoiding the stones being pelted upon me by the Beyonce haters* lol
I also like Mya's new vid. Good dancing, like her outfits especially the gangsta one.

Don't feel bad about this. It's infectious, at least that's what I think. I still can't stand her (yes I am an admitted Beyonce hater), but I'm feeling the song. I think the only thing that I wanna know is WTH does she see in the CAMEL???

Finally saw the Lumidee video. For some reason, I was expecting a Jamaician singer or someone from the Caribbean. It was alright.
I'm loving the Excuse Me Again video by Jay-Z. That is STILL my jam!
Pharrell's video for Frontin' was different. Not bad or good but different.

What does she look like? I haven't seen the video.
I am liking Tamia's video for Officially Missing You, but only because there are some HOT guys in it. It has like negative one to do with the song, but I have come to expect that from Tamia after the Stranger In My House video. And what is the deal with every single person in this video being super sexy? Can I move to wherever that is??

Just to note: Puerto Rico might be in the Antilles instead of the West Indies, but it IS a Caribbean Island.
Culturally they are like our play cousins, lol. The Reason people hear the song and think Jamaican is because of the BEAT. Tnat song uses the "Diwalli Riddem", previously heard on Get Busy by Sean Paul AND No Letting Go by Wayne Wonder.
re Tamia: I am OFFICIALLY jealous of her thighs, but that's about it. The song is aight. The men are quite yummy.
