I'm sorry you decided to withdraw from recruitment, but I'm glad you have an awesome alternative in the colonizing DZ. Best of luck with that and keep us posted!

I'm not going to ask why you made this decision... but if it was because you were disappointed with your invites, I'm sorry.

I made essentially the same decision right before prefs... didn't feel at home with any of the national sororities, dropped out of rush to rush a local, and everything turned out great.

Good luck with Delta Zeta!

Don't look back, just look forward. I've always thought how neat it would be to become part of a colony.

Talking

I'm sorry that you felt you wouldn't be able to give 101% to the houses that invited you to pref. I'm glad that you're going to give DZ a try.

THE WAITING IS GOING TO KILL ME THOUGH!!!
But I know it'll be worse on you. :sigh:

Yes there was only one house that I really felt that was for me and that was Tri-Delta. They are one of the most picky here on campus and I was having a hard time deciding if I would end up signing a bid card or not because of the 1 year thing and the fact that from the beginning I really liked the idea of DZ. Now I am going to have to go through rush all over again and the butterflies and nervousness. But in the end I think I made the right decision. Like I mentioned before I know DZ will be awesome here for the women that I have met here that dropped for DZ are wonderful and I think that we will make a great chapter. (knock on wood that they like and ask me back)

UF56,
You have impressed me from the very start of your posting and your decision to go towards DZ is another example.
Something tells me that you and DZ were destined. I know that you liked them at the very start, and that says a lot.
Please keep us updated on your DZ recruitment experience. I cannot tell you how excited I am for you!
Fraternally,
violets
