Great thread!!
-my study partner, who I was supposed to meet with today at 10 a.m. to study for our midterm on Monday-hello, don't call me at 1:00 p.m. and be like, I'm here do you want to study?? Oh sure, let me pack up all my shit, haul it back up to school, and study now that you decided to show up. Bitch. (sorry ya'll-but I'm really angry!! )
-the fact that my boyfriend lives in freaking North Carolina...I'm sure NC is fabulous and all, but I miss him.
-my bank and their new *surprise* fees that are different amounts each month
Thats it for now, but give me time...

Yeah we do. Actually my sled dogs are barking, I think they're hungry. I better go and feed them some whale blubber. I mean that all we eat here. And Sally, Jimmy and Suzy say hi!!!

I hate....
1. The f*&^ers who take up a lane in the pool to talk while I'm looking for a lane and then give me a dirty look when I ask them if they're finished.
2. People who don't yield to pedestrians OR the people who slow down and then nearly run you off when you're nearly across the street.
3. People who smack their gum, esp. guys!!! Yick!
4. People who make ignorant comments about other cultures/religions (like completely false statements, not just general criticism)
5. People who don't bathe. I never had this prob til I came to college. What, so you're too busy getting enlightened? You can think while you're in the freaking shower.
6. High schoolers coming to visit college campuses
7. Wasting brain power

The number one thing that pisses me off is when I get comments (sorry but it is mostly from Americans) that it must be really cold in Canada...it pisses me off more when they say this to min the middle of july. Yeah, it's frigging freezing in the middle of July...I came down south so I could escape my igloo and get rid of my parka...With all due respect...they need to use some common sense. I don't own a sled dog, wear a parka, eat whale blubber, live in an igloo, and no I don't know everybody. Oh and I do not speak french. I can't stress that enough. French is a minority language in Canada...we do not all speak french. In fact most Candians are getting pissed off with the Quebecois. I could go keep going about on about this, but I think I'll stop now.

I was talking to an old friend from HS and told him that i was going to school in canada. He said that all candians are smelly and dont know whether to speaak french or english and its cold there 24/7. He claims that he knows more about canada even though ive lived her for almost 15 munths

Customers who act like you should have no other purpose in life other than serving them
I work customer service, and my sign clearly says "Open from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M."
But yet, they show up at 8:10 pm and expect me to help them-yeahhhh, not a problem since I have nothing better to do with my time! If someone locked their keys in the car, it's not a problem. But if you're just too lazy to read the sign that says what times Customer Service is open-SORRY, I'm not going to spend an extra 20 minutes of MY time so I can help you wire money to the boyfriend in South Dakota that you're CHEATING on!!! (I actually had this last night, no lie-she said "Please, just this once??? I have to get this to my boyfriend back home"-Ok...first off Bit*h, you came by LAST week and actually caught me with another customer past 8 pm, so I went ahead and helped you with your western union, and you couldn't even stand there for 5 minutes, so it took me 20! She actually left 1400$ in CASH on the counter, and acted like I was supposed to watch it even though my back was turned. On top of that, she had the nerve to come BACK over when I was closing down with her little friend, and was like "where's the KY Jelly??? how can I get into the condom case"

People that call a wrong number and then hang up instead of saying "sorry, wrong number." or who are like all mad with a "who is this" "this is Optimist Prime, mofo, who the f is this" "sorry buddy, wrong number." I'm not your buddy, *ssh*l*, learn some phone manners.
Also, people who block traffic in parking lots by not using a space. There is a space across the parking lot, and I'm talking 20 feet., but no, they have to park behind the mail truck, which means that to get around them, you are in the wrong lane, and if some one is coming then that means a wreck. How about a little common courtesy? Take the extra 30 seconds to walk and prevent an accident.

BUMP!
Yesterday live-in and I went to the Lincoln Park Zoo to celebrate my birthday. Yes, I realize that I turned 25 and we don't have kids, but I like zoos and I have made a point to at least try to go to the zoo in every city that I've lived in. Plus it's free and money's tight right now and the weather was beautiful yesterday.
So, on to what pisses me off. There were SO MANY people there who had little to no control over their rugrats. I mean, I realize a zoo is a family place and we're going to run into kids and some of them will misbehave. That's fine. But we couldn't get over the sheer number of a-hole kids and a-hole parents there!
1. Children pounding on glass and screaming at the small mammals exhibits.
2. One child throwing peanuts into the seal tank while his father looked on and laughed. Never mind that there are 30,000,000 signs all over the park that say "Our animals are on very strict diets please do not feed them."
3. One mother with her three kids who left them outside one of the cafes so that she could go in and get napkins. While the children are climbing all over OTHER PEOPLE'S TABLES birds swoop in and snatch all their food. Should I mention that the boys were probably twins (no older than 3) and the little girl was no older than 6. Later the mom was too into talking on her cell phone to keep her kids from climbing on a statue. This statue is a sore point with me because there were NUMEROUS children acting like a-holes on it.
4. Children climbing on statues while their parents looked on. I about had a heart attack while one boy was STANDING ON TOP of an artsy looking statue that didn't have a level point on top and he was a good ten feet in the air.
5. One child threw a gatorade bottle at the black leopard cage. The sign said that black leopards are nocturnal, it even explained what nocturnal means. Now, this may be me, but I would never want to wake up a sleeping JUNGLE ANIMAL. Cage or not, I'm sure that leopard is freaking scary when it's pissed.
6. Children climbing on railings, specifically the ones around the Lion's little outdoor area. The railing is there, then there's about 3 feet, then a really steep drop to the floor. I suppose the lions can't come right up to the railing but they certainly can get to that bottom drop thing (their water dishes were down there). Do you really wanna let your kids climb on that railing? What are you people doing, trying to make the 5 o'clock news?
The one common thing between all of these misbehaving kids was that their parents DID NOT stop them from doing what they were doing, and (as far as I could see) they didn't discipline their kids for pulling these a-hole moves. I understand you don't wanna punish your kid in public, people, but seriously there's a point where they're endangering themselves, the animals, and other people by doing what they're doing.
There were other kids pulling a-hole moves but their parents swooped in and disciplined them. Kudos to them for having the balls to stand up to their kids. Specifically to the mom who smacked her kid's hand as she was pushing and shoving other kids trying to pet the snake (when the keeper specifically said one at a time), THANK YOU. I know you don't wanna hit your kid, but smacking a hand is hardly abusive.
Live-in and I debated about whether or not we should get our tubes tied, then decided that if our kids are going to misbehave at the zoo, they're not going to get to go to the zoo or they're going to have to leave. It's a free zoo, people, it's not like you lost any money!
tl;dr: People are jerks and so are their stupid kids.
