I didn't like her ( Miss MS) song choice.

Ohio just gave a sorority shout out!

DH was impressed by Mississippi & Arkansas' singing.

I thought I heard a shout out, but I didn't hear which one. Pretty noisy here! You do mean Oklahoma, don't you?

She just said "My sorority reminds me of this song that I am dancing to" or something very similar to that.

She danced to "Titanium".

ETA: Yes, I meant Oklahoma. I was a little surprised, because I didn't think that she had a Greek Affiliation.

Oklahoma said her story represents strength, not sorority. It was hard to hear!

I haven't been super impressed with the talent so far. I think Florida has been the best.

I replayed it a few times and then turned on closed captioning. I think it was "my story is one of strength so that's why I'm dancing to this song" but "my story" did sound a lot like "sorority."

I think Ohio too. I'm going to be stinkin' mad if Alabama and Kentucky don't get to show off their talents.

Oh well, it is what it is.

So far, for me, Ohio has had the most entertaining talent.

And I'm with you, misscherrypie, particularly re: Miss Alabama.

Overall the singers were much better than in years past. (The last one wasn't my favorite.) It's hard for me to judge dance, since I'm not technically trained in that. I always wonder how people judge different talents against each other? Piano compared to dance compared to vocals...compared to a ventriloquist act...

As someone trained in Bel Canto, I am not liking the tone of Miss Virginia.

Making a prediction: AL goes on.,
