Just an observation: The first two LuLu dresses are adorable. But if you carry poundage on the lower forty...you would look VERY hippy. Another observation: in general shiny materials that aren't expensive can look very cheap. Right now there are some amazing sales on dresses, on and instore. And in general...I would stay away from the built in padded bra look for pref. The number three LuLu, in Los Angeles, would be considered very conservative and no cami needed. But, then again, I suppose it depends on your campus culture.

It can be challenging finding a dress that is adorable, enhances your positives, and is young and fresh.

Unless you have boobs.

To the current OP - try things on for your mom/sister/friends and trust their advice over ours. We don't know your body type and can't give more than vague suggestions because of it.

As for this one, someone mentioned the "if you have boobs" thing, which is where I suggested the cami.
I also think this could be considered conservative on my campus, but I think the dress is better suited for a curvier girl. A band accentuating underneath the boobs helps downplay the stomach area and can look very cute on someone with the right body type.

Of course ANY dress needs the right body type to pull it off flawlessly, so I definitely agree with the suggestions that any dresses be tried on for friends/family because they will be able to honestly tell you what works for you and what doesn't.
