Great job!

Great job. Nice pictures. I don't think ive ever looked all that close at the pledge/am pin, especially the pledge pin. Its hard to get people excited about a pin they may only wear for a few months/weeks, especially once you get your active pin. I don't know how it is in other chapters, but we give ours back after initiation.

A good point, but remember while now they are the same as all get it is important to give them back instead of burying them as My Zeta did. I finally got a stop put to that!
Either give them back to the Zeta and save money or for Brothers to save them for their own history!
They are around $10.00 to buy from IHQ if they will let you!
Since I never was a Pledge old term I did not have one, but have one now for the History for My Zeta!

I have been remiss in giving Brother Jono for the outstanding Article that He has written about the LXA Pledge Pin!
If many have not realized it, Brother Raymond is moving on to other thing with in LXA and Brother Hren has taken over the reins of History of LXA History of LXA C & C!
He is very capable of doing this as have know him many years now!!!
He is a great Historian and leaves no stone unturned to give us a good article.
While Mike will be missed, he has someone who will be super for us!

Brother Jono,
That was an excellent article, and I am definitely looking forward to Part 2.......and thanks for throwing that picture of my pledge pin in there, it looked great snuggled right between the others, although from the looks of it, it was quite different in design.

Brothers,
Thank you all. If I did a good job it's only because I was inspired by the best. Mike, glad to give you a break so you can concentrate better on your new "challenge".
Tad also wrote some nice articles, especially the one about Rubottom, as did Lynn on the Call to Lead campaign. Chris did a great job with the photos.
I'm already working on Part II and I must say it's driving me crazy. That little pin sure has a peculiar history - more than you'd think.
So Trey, you recognized your pin, huh? Yep it's snuggled right in there. The last two on ebay were different from any others I'd seen. Let's hear it for ebay!
In ZAX,
Jono

Wow if Jono says it is unique, then it must be a real treasure, for this Brother knows so much about our jewelry that I dont know how he is capable of remembering all of it.
Thanks for the compliment Jono

The June C&C Magazine is Now On-Line!
Greetings,
I am happy to report that the new issue of the Cross & Crescent magazine is now available for your reading enjoyment!
This is the 20th issue of the magazine published, as promised and on time, since November, 2005. A promised made and a promise kept by the Editors and volunteer staff of the magazine.
All Lambda Chi content by an all Lambda Chi team....
You just have to read Jono's article about our Pledge/AM pin illustrated with many examples of the pin. This is the second part of his series on the Pledge/AM pin.
What next, Jono?
The article about Dabbs Greer is a good read too. An easy bit of Lambda Chi Trivia to ponder: what other two cast members of the Walton Mountain TV series were Lambda Chis? Oh, it was not John Boy!
It takes a lot of work to put each 16 page issue of the magazine together. Please let your Brothers know that you appreciate their efforts.
Yours in ZAX,
Mike Raymond,
Z-U Zeta

C & C is once again over the top for many reason!
Brother Jono Hren has taken the reins from docroc-Mike and done a tremendous Article about the History of LXA/TKN!
While as An Electronic C of C, I have embaced of how I felt about it, I have come to fully endores it as a Monthly Update
It is amazing to see how many People are Brothers! While I did not know them, they still cared about LXA!

The New Electronic C & C Is Available!
Brothers,
The October issue of the Cross & Crescent Magazine is now available. This is the 23rd issue of the magazine published as promised and on time.
So far, a small team of staff members and volunteers have published 368 pages of fraternity related material in this format.
Be sure to read Jono's excellent article in the history section of the C & C. There is also quite a bit of chapter news to read this time around.
Enjoy....
Yours in ZAX,
Mike Raymond,
ZUZeta

Color template
Hello all,
I believe I heard or read somewhere that someone or some committee in IHQ was revamping the color scheme for the CoA. Or something to this extent. Also, the article made it seem/implied that some detail was lost in the change towards this final version of the CoA; I assume they're working on this as well?
Anyone have any info on this update of the CoA or perhaps I just imagined this?
ZAX,
Adam
