And that's it! I was the first to attend college in my immediate family so, sadly, no legacy here. I'm hoping that one of my cousin's, whom plans on attending UTSA next fall, will change that. *Has fingers crossed*
The only other person on my mother's side to attend college was my great-aunt, she transferred to UTexas in the 60's but was pretty anti-Greek... still is to this day.

However, on my fiancee's side of the family--

Grandfather: Was a member of a fraternity, not sure which GLO.

I have a good hunch my future sister-in-law, who is at the moment 13, will probably make the attempt at rush when her time comes. I secretly envy her being a legacy but oh well.

Just found out via Facebook creeping that the older sister of the Sigma Nu and Pi Phi is also in a sorority...She's a Delta Zeta!

I'm the FIRST to join a sorority in my entire family!! well, we moved from Peru to the east coast when i was a baby in the mid 1980s....so i guess that's why there aren't any other greeks.... yet
***oh and not only did i join a sorority, I (along with 16 other ladies at my university), am one of the founders!!

my parent's and I are so proud I went Tri Delt!

...which is coincidental because their sorority is named after Frances Willard, the first alumna initiate of the sisterhood of which I am an alumna initiate... Alpha Phi!
