Bid day at EKu was tuesday August 29th. This information I collected on Thursday (August 31st).
Your number may acutally be the correct one. (Note how i said "supposedly").
There is a Gamma Chi/Rho Chi/whatever that is in my nursing class. I plan to talk to her on Tuesday after our exam to find out more info. I just personally feel funny or would feel funny randomly showing up at the Greek Life office or seeking out a member of panhellenic (none of which I know anymore because I've been alum since 2003) and start asking questions about recruitment stats especially since I am no longer a chapter advisor much less a recruitment advisor. The Gamma Chi probably wont know much about numbers outside of bid day quota/numbers prior to 4pm on BId Day. At EKU, COR begins at 6pm the same day as bid day and it gets really crazy because members are litterally running to PNM's dorm rooms trying to get to them first to extend bids.
I apologize if the above makes no sense. I worked a 13 hour shift today and I'm drained.

Is this Mansfield in PA??? They only started school on Aug 28 and I have a hard time believing that they had rush before school started - or over Labor Day weekend.

That is really, really, REALLY weird. If you knew the state schools you'd understand. Incidentally, quota being 5 there means there were 20 girls rushing.
