Just watched on my local news that Angel Stadium is increasing security a lot especially by the third base side b/c that umpire Doug Eddings will be officiating tonight.

He even has to have personal security escort him from his hotel to the stadium b/c of the danger the fans are to his safety. They keep talking about it on the local news.

If the incident in Game 2 happened in Dodger Stadium? Dude, the incident was in the 9th inning. 85% of the Dodger fans in attendance would probably already be gone three innings ago.
BTW, one team's trash is another mans treasure, unless you LIKED Jim Tracy....
Either way, the one thing we agree on is the Giants suck and both tha Pads and Dodgers whooped that steroid ass.

It definitely changes directions - however, it seems pretty obvious that it hits the end of the glove (and not the ground) and changes direction before settling in the pocket of the mitt.
It was a bad call, but nothing that was absurd - it was just a mistake, we don't get the benefit of instant replay on the field.

Yeah, the guy may be one of the worst people in sports, period. I'm surprised someone hasn't pulled a "Juan Marichal/Johnny Roseboro incident" on him yet.
But, as was said, it was a bad call, and that's life. Nothing can be done except to keep playing.
