Thanks everyone! I had to take a few days off from the computer. I think I'm just about blind!!
It's ok if other people are ahead right now. We still have about 10 days left. It actually may be better if others are ahead and get overly confident so we can sneak up on them the last day or two!! We still have lots of ideas for the last few days next week. So keep your fingers crossed for us! And thanks again for asking all your friends to vote for us!

Thats what I've been planning to do! A few friends have all given me permission to use their email addresses because I want to save them for the last couple days. I've got about 50 here.

A little over a week to go....We're still about 250 votes ahead! We're just hoping to maintain a small lead or just stay in the running at this point until the last day.
Keep your fingers crossed!

Back in the ollldden days when Miller Beer sponsored recycling drives, they collected bags each week. We only gave them a few each week and then the last day ..really piled it on!!

you almost feel bad for the Jason guy from Utah with only a 100 votes, until you remember that you want to win!
He must look at the numbers and feel like a loser. I would!

Yeah, we felt kind of bad for him too at first. I actually considered asking a few people to vote for him to make me feel better
BUT...He is probably sitting back and laughing at the rest of us. He may have some big macro or computer program all ready to go on the last day!! You got to admit, having only like 100 votes is a little suspicious like he's up to something!!

One more week! Yippee! We're almost to the finish line....
but unfortunately we're in second right now and behind by about 150+ votes. That's ok though, still lots of time!

As of a couple of minutes ago, you were ahead by 10 votes...I went to vote with an email that I just got yesterday, and it told me that "our records indicate that you've voted with this address" or some such thing - I think that'd be hard to do since I just got it yesterday because of the hotel having dial up connection only and we had to go get an AOL free trial disk
Oh, well - good luck!

I voted with 2 more email addresses-- and emailed the link to about 20 Alpha Gams...I am sure they will forward it on as well!

The message no longer says "one email address", now it says..
Online voting is limited to one vote per person, e-mail address or computer/IP address. Multiple votes will not be counted. Grand prize winner will be announced on Monday, April 4.
I haven't voted using my daughter's PC or my laptop, but they may all register as the same IP address. I haven't voted from work yet though.. there are about 130 computers I have access to there!

Hi everyone!
Well, as some of you have already noticed there have been some changes. We were hoping to get more details last night from them so I was holding off on posting, but we should know more on Monday.
To make a VERY long story short, my husband talked to them yesterday and they are now limiting voting to 1 per IP address (some of you may understand IP addresses better than I do). Sounds like that was the original plan but no one on their end noticed there were some problems with the website. I don't know if IP addresses are related to "cookies" so if anyone would like to teach us about "cookies" and "IP addresses" I apparently could use a little computer lesson. Might as well learn a little something through all of this
Anyhow.... they are supposed to be recalculating the score in the next few days last we heard. From what we understand this means all votes that came from one IP address will be eliminated. I think most computers have 1 IP address depending on how you connect to the internet. I know where my husband works all of their computers (thousands of them) have 1 IP address so no one else in his company can vote from work (which really stinks). But If you reconnect to the internet on other computers (like at home through dial-up/high speed) sometimes you get a different IP address so I'm not sure what this all means.
Hopefully we'll get more info on Monday and at least know when they're going to recalculate the scores! Thanks again everyone!
Have a great weekend!

WOW - that's too bad about the 1 vote per IP! (Now I don't feel as bad about having only one address!!!)
I sent the link to about 20 co-workers yesterday and asked that they forward to their friends. Today I'm going to forward it to my personal email address-book!
Good luck!
