OH MY GOD!!!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!

If you cry at movies you will cry at this, fair warning.

I loved it. Although I will admit that I was yelling (not loud) at Anakin. I know that he turns evil (we all knew that) but I was like "no don't do it". LOL.

The storyline to how he turns is heartbreaking. It seriously broke my heart.

One point I'm pissed about is that a line from episode 6 is now completely negated.

I'm also upset because James Earl Jones was not credited. Butheads.

STAR WARS RANT & RAVE

I AM SO FUCKING PISSED RIGHT NOW.

I went to see the movie & some dumb bitch took her baby and young (I mean less than 3 yrs. old) to the movie. That baby & kid proceeded to scream, wail, cry, & throw a tantrum throughout the movie. People were shouting at her to leave the fucking theater b/c her baby was loud & disrupting the movie pleasure of the rest of us. We complained to the manager as did more than half the theater but did anyone kick her out? NOOOOOO!
We had to tolerate their fucking noise which ruined the movie for me. The only bright side was that we got free passes to see it again so we plan to probably tomorrow early.

PLEASE KEEP THE KIDS AT HOME!

There was actually a two screaming kids in my theater last night. While I was waiting in the concession line another person in the theater noticed a cop coming out (of our theater) and she asked about the screaming child. The cop didn't know what she was talking about so I told him that there was a screaming kid in there. The cop said that until the movie started he couldn't ask them to leave. Once the movie started, management actually asked them to leave.

Is anyone starting a spoiler thread? I saw this thread had grown 2 pages since I last checked it and I was scared I was going to read something I shouldn't have.

Only 3 more hours!

Oh...My...WOW...

THIS is the movie that I & II only dreamed of being. I laughed, I cried, I yelled "NOOOOOO" (somewhat quietly) more than once, and at one point I think my jaw hit the floor and stayed there for who knows how long.

Naturally, the oldest rugrat hated it. Then again, he loves I & II and detests IV, V & VI. At least he was happy about our virtually perfect seats, which was crucial after our sardine can experience for Ep. II.

Definitely not a movie for young children, whatsoever. Anyone who takes an infant or toddler to this movie should have their head examined.

I can't wait to see it again. Way too much to digest on one viewing. Wow.

I went to a midnight showing. Tons of fun. We're going to go see it in DLP tomorrow night. I was also absolutely heartbroken by Anakin's fall because I felt he was tricked. A lot of false promises and lies... I'm going to start reading the book tonight because I was told that there are some expansions on some things that I wanted to know more about.

Don't take kids under 10 to see this. Seriously, it will scare the hell out of them.

I'll admit that the only reason I'm on GC is because my Star Wars message board is down. I need help.

My husband saw the movie at midnight last night-- today he was off work, I asked what he did all day-- he saw the movie AGAIN-- twice in twelve hours.
Tomorrow night he is taking the kids. My 4year old (who won't make a sound during the movie) loves "Dark-Grader" (i am just getting him convinced that it is darth vader).

I just watched my copy of DVD of Star Wars - Episode IV - A New Hope. Damn, I didn't think this movie could get any better, but with Episode III, it has. I need to watch V and VI now and then rewatch I and II and go see III in the theatres again.

Powers very addicting, Star Wars has!

Eeks, make sure Dad covers his eyes during the bad scenes. I know I had nightmares when I saw Empire Strikes Back as a kid because I thought my dad was going to cut my hand off if I was bad!

If you see it in a digital theater, the blacks will be gray. This is not a problem in bright scenes where it looks great. Its a huge problem in dark scenes where it looks washed out.

Outstanding. Mrs. DA thought so, too.

I've seen it both ways and still prefer digital...I didn't notice the blacks being gray.....maybe I was engrossed with the story. But maybe I got lucky and I know for a fact that I've seen it in a DLP theater.
