BTW I didn't say gangs were good or bad...I said they were bad. My fraternity has very few black members simply because very few black males want to join the Jewish fraternity. Regardless me saying I don't want gangs in MY fraternity would indicate to you I find non black gangs bad.

Now...the rest of your post is strange. We're talking about "white" gangs, who you say aren't really gangs....versus REAL gangs, that people think are basically "minority" gangs. So...the point is in how this racialized society racially ratonalizes things, such as deviant behavior.

So hey I know a child molestor and rapist or two that want to go to college and join the Greek system. They were in some gang. I can't think of the name. I was wondering which of you wanted them first. I hear they did community service and picked up trash along the highway.

No it shows that someone actually has even slight evidence. I know one of them. You don't even know one of them. I don't deny they exist or they're bad but you argue like I do.

Interesting. Since you're smart, I don't have to tell you that child molestation and rape are crimes. Being in a gang, in many places, isn't a crime and you usually can't be arrested for it. Now, if you're associated to criminal behavior, that's a different thing. We already established that many gang members do not commit crimes and those they commit are often petty offenses (which often pale in comparison to child molestation and rape).

So now this is an issue of gangs that don't do criminal activities. I guess it's like one of those honor societies. Kids show up and do community service and go to Church.

Hey if you don't want that person. I have another one. She held up a store and the charges got dropped to a misdemeanor because the owner didn't die from the gunshot wound. Want her?

Hmmm...care to go back and read your earlier posts? You said that these groups exist, but they do not fit the textbook definition of "gangs." Whether you know it or not, your misconception perpetuates the dismissal of these groups as "gangs."
